ML is rubbish...

I really can't see miself playing ML this year, its utter garbage is what they turned it into.... its really sad too, because ML was 90% of what I spent my time doing in pes...

The magic boots are horrible, every single player has black boots from the 60's from the start, and u get 4 boots per season so after 1 season hooooraaaay 4 players can wear boots and have different boots from ur teammates.
It also sucks that these boots add stats and I might add they increase stats by a big margin... you can get 3 overall rating more from them, how ridicilous is that??
On top of that it seems AI doesnt simply use boots but also those things you can buy for GP, because otherwise I can't explain the HUGE stat boosts that some players in the game get into like 3/4th season.. I mean players get from like 90 to 104, and not even young players, players who are at their peak or about there so they shouldn't really get much better still... its so funny I simulated 5 seasons ahead and the amount of RED players and players over 100 is absolutely amazing... its INSANE and completely UNREALISTIC that 50 players have 99 stats of alot of things, this just ISN'T POSSIBLE in real life, even 1 player having 99 at something is VERY VERY rare.

So final thoughts, THANK YOU KONAMI, THANK YOU FOR COMPLETELY DESTROYING ML, GOOD JOB U DID.

I knew this was coming, even though I have to play to see the impact of the boots stuff on me, I'm starting to predict a big dissapointment on ML. Just when the gameplay is by far the best Konami have created.

One and a half seasons done in ML.
Have 13 boots, mostly WEPES boots (1 pair each of NIKE, PUMA, UMBRO and no ADIDAS?!), that have limited stat boosts (like 2 stats get boosted, not 5 like NIKE boots).
Transfered players all had boots equiped, so I got those too. C. Ronaldo had crap WEPES boots, so I gave him my NIKE (must not have found time to buy himself a decent pair?! lol )
Enjoying it a bit BUT the BOOTS thing really is crap.
Training by buying a skills training thing in Shop is weird, I just bought training, one-touch for C. Ronaldo, see how that works, it seems it might be reusable for a year, so even if he gets the skill I can equip it on another player.
I was hoping for laser guided boots made by Haliburton, but I guess thats unrealistic.
Master League is poked, but am taking it as glass half-full for time being (as opposed to acknowledging the sick feeling in my stomach that Konami are just being a**holes, knowing I love PES and purposely ruining my football gaming for half a decade).

Praying Konami makes a patch/update for "classic style ML"... Praying for Post Match stat increase/decrease (feel disconnected from player development again), and 2010/2011 style training...
I watched for any indication of stat changes and there was NONE, except for the year to year graph, which is too broad.


Please Konami, give us back our PES. We just want the game made for us, not NIKE sponsors or Otaku (means total geek in japanese) JRPG fanatics...

If you are an "old hand" at it, but you like this iteration, you must have HATED PES 4, 5, 6, 2010...
If you are new, you have not played the real PES... It was THE SH*T!

The only reason FIFA got more popular was because Konami shot PES in the foot...
The gameplay improved, but could be better.
ML is allowed to just stay awesome and be improved slightly, but not butchered, its getting like shooting it in the foot in 2012, became a different, yet still destruvtive to core PES elements, "plastic surgery" on the foot. Boots=Plastic rubbish.
Leave its feet alone!
It was running just fine.
Its ok to admit a mistake... Please give back PES...
PES died 5 years ago... The improvement have come with butcherings...

i enjoyed the new ML because it give us more objective to play, collect the boots
not just buy some player, winning the league, etc
yes blackboots is terrible
but when play in ML match, i just enjoying the game and i didnt notice the blackboots.. hahaha

You dont miss the after game stat increase/decrease and the ability to set the whole teams training individually?

I played 3 seasons, I have 20+ boots... want some?
I got Silva 99 CB, C. Ronaldo SS 98 and Buffon GK 95 transfered into Barca, and my starting 11 are all 95+ Messi 106, C.Ronaldo CF 101, A.Sanchez 102, Fabregas CMF 108!
Iniesta 102, Pique 102...
Add boots and they go higher, its pretty unreal... Super human.

Growth development after PES 2009 or 10 turned for the worse. They've messed everything up including player growth, but unfortunately its the only mode I play so I just live with it,its not that big to me anyway as most of the time I'm figuring out how to get past the D2 league

I've noticed that in the beginning it was waaay to easy (i play on superstar) but now since i'm number 2 in the league, i can't even beat the crappy teams at the bottom of the league. Less scripted than last year, but sure still there

After two seasons all your 1st team players will have a rating above 90

Yeah, I quite like ML too.
If the stats do become a bit bonkers later in my ML campaign, I may just start again with Development Off.

Or, I'll just buy shit Coaches and concentrate all of the training facilities on the young players and then sell them.

Only played 7 fixtures, got 1 pair of boot, one of my CB equipped it, his
Explosive power increased by 4 points 56----60 ....... hooraay.

Have not seen boots made superheros problem(have not played that far), but by reading the posts here, i am not optimistic about players stats being over 90 easily only because of some boots..... absurd.

I still love playing ML, the gameplay is good and in depth, want to play
all day and all night ........ but got too tired to play eventually, LOL.

Buy stat increases, anything that your player is lacking on, that suits position, get 5+ and 5+ and get some boots that have something like 3+/4+/5+/2+/2+.
I chose Barca and 6 out of 11 of my players are over 100. 2 are 109, 2 106, 2 102.

Yup, after 3/4 seasons or so.

If you play 100 games on line you can get "extra pocket" unlock and add another 5+ stat increase to one player per "extrapocket" (per 100 games).

i agree with most of your comments,
i would like to see the stats so at least i can tell if my player is improving or not... allthough boots have certain advantages in real life, i would say the stat increase boots give in this game is too much....
