ML question...

Anyone just manage a team from the touchline during the course of a ML? I'm considering doing that with the (shrudder) default team. Maybe I'll do a storyline where an MLS team moved to Europe and is trying to hack it with the big boys LOL

Yes thats what I meant. I did that after I secured 1st place in the D2 league with 5 matches remaing. Didn't feel like playing meaningless matches, and wanted to beging the next season.

Is this coach feature on PS2 version or not? Never seen it before in my life but it definately would make sense to skip meaningless matches if your 20+ points ahead with 3 games left to play or something

Dont know Smurf, but here's how to find out. When in a match, pause the game. You should see an option called "player setting". select that and you should see your controller on the home or away side, dpending on the match. Use the D-pad and press right (i think) and you should see a coach/manager next to your controllor. Press X to confirm and you should be able to just watch the match. You can still control substitutions, change team tatics, adjust formations, etc. just like a manager would.

Bah, i thought it would simulate the last matches like you could in the old FIFA games... may aswell play them if you still have to go through the matches...
