I am trying to start a team with the lowest starting money possible but It wont stop giving me 25 million. Oy. Is there any option to specifically say I only want the minimum? (I am using Daymos option file and default (castolo etc..) players)

25 Million is really not that much considering that you need to pay wages to players, coaches and the medic, plus invest in the youth team and fan base, if you want a challenge then just give yourself a very harsh limit on squad size, the number of players you bring in, or even better you could simply pay mega wages to your players at the first negotiation window, good luck dude!!!

I suppose you could decide for yourself what's acceptably low enough for you to just about manage and spend whatever you don't feel you need on a random player. When the negotiations go through, offer more to the point where your money comes down as low as you want it to go, then sell the player straight after that and do the opposite - when it goes into negotiations stage, adjust the price to like £1 or something.

That way you will essentially start with as low a budget you feel is acceptable for yourself to deal with.

Thanks for the advice! I ended up choosing some Eastern Euro team I didnt care about, changing their name/uniform, and I was awarded with the 3.5 million starting funds! I will keep what you told me in mind though for future endeavors!

I just found out I can't edit their uniform or name. UGH!

I posted the following in another thread about a month ago. Perhaps you'll find it helpful.

"...I'd like to share some information that will probably impact how one uses this option file (and option files in general). The situation is this: Any team that has had it's "Team Name", "Emblem", "Stadium" or "Support" altered will be given quite a financial boost at the start of it's Master League campaign. For example, the default PES United (assuming a Division 2 placement) begins with a budget of approximately $3,000,000, a fan club base of around 5000 members, and an appropriately crappy 170 ranking. Change PES United's team name, emblem, stadium or support before beginning Master League, however, and it will begin with about $35,000,000 in budget, 70000 fan club members, a much higher ranking and a superior coaching staff - even in Division 2 with the default squad chosen. Here are some other examples of "edit boosts":

Default Palermo (Xavrenaguel): [~$40,000,000] [75,000 fcm]
Edited Palermo: [~$70,000,000] [95,000 fcm]

Default Hercules (Hecioguel): [~$15,000,000] [27,000 fcm]
Edited Hercules: [~$45,000,000] [75,000 fcm]

Default Stoke City (The Potteries): [~$19,000,000] [36,000 fcm]
Edited Stoke City: [$66,000,000] [95,000 fcm]

Quite a difference and fairly annoying if you A. Want the most challenging possible start to your ML, and B. Don't want the other low or mid level teams (the top level teams don't seem to have their starts boosted by the relevant edits, interestingly enough) in your ML to be given such advanced financial starts of their own. Luckily, there is a workaround for those who wish to begin with an edited team's "default" starting position:

1. With your finalized "edit data" configuration (e.g option file and any changes made) in place, load up the game.

2. Change your team's "Team Name", "Emblem", "Home Ground" and "Support" to their defaults. If you wish, do the same for any other team that has had at least one of these fields edited.

3. Back out of the edit screen but do not save the edit data when prompted.

4. Begin your Master League with your chosen team (the newly default version, obviously) and save your progress at the first opportunity.

5. Reload the game or back out to the top menu and load your edit data file.

6. Load your ML save. Voila! You'll return to your saved starting position but with your edited team name, emblem, etc. back in place.

I just started as PES United and limited myself to only youth team players you start with about 3.5m and after you've signed some youth players you start eh season with about 500k.

It really works man:happy:
But did you notice that the salary and market value also become twice more expensive?:erm:
I use Parma FC, when I start normally, my team salary only 9M, my sponsor only 6M
And when I start with your way, my team salary become 23M, my sponsor become 11M

The players price also twice more expensive
Am I right? or I'm the only one who had it?

Do we have to buy all the classic pack players in order to complete our players?

Since the most recent patch (1.03) when I started a new league I haven't been able to get a team to begin with less than £19mil.

Before Christmas I could do what is suggested above and have PES United start with the typical couple million and then reload the league with my custom team. Now when I do the work around of turning a team back to default and starting a new master league they are still getting way too much money. I have done it with a few default D2 league teams and have yet to get back to the scrapping around for loose change start to a league campaign.

I know I could just go sign a single rubbish player and pay a transfer fee of £15mil to erase the difference and likely will. I just wondered if maybe this behaviour I am observing was something others have seen.

Has anyone else had similar trouble since the last patch?
Thanks

I think they have upped the money you start with after the patch because the cost of players and player wages have increased??? That could be the reason???

I havent got the latest patch so i cant say for certain
