im not all 99's or nuffink, im using my dream team stats, which 2 be fair are pretty piss poor for a striker, but its my first season on the pc version!

on the ps2 version, think i had kewell and shearer in a good parnership on my not so good game. kewell and robbie keane are good agasint slow defences, shearer is great in the air though.

Theres something about that boy Saha, I personally think hes one of the best strikers in the game, especially for the money.

If you're willing to add a few more stats to a player you should do it to ronaldinho. Hes not bad as himself but if you improve his agression, dribbling accuracy, speed and then give him agility and reaction special skills he becomes top draw. He basically walks through players as 'waiting for incoming' will tell you as he has played with a recreated version of him but renamed as R.Giggs. Incoming loved giggs(aka ronaldinho) so much he secretly copied him from my memory card when I was having a dump!!

Yeah, and Castolo's pretty poor as he is, but if you improve his Attack, Defense, Balance, Stamina, Top Speed, Acceleration, Response, Dribble Accuracy, Dribble Speed, Passing Abilities, his finishing, how good he is in the air, give him stars for everything, improve the mental side of things, make sure his technique stats are high, and make him 19m tall, he's not half bad either...

AC Milan's Shevchenko and Inzaghi are a better combo.

I would play Henry on the left or right, never in the middle.

As for Sheva, do you know if he plays on the left as well?

Not as well as Ronaldo. Weak foot stat for Sheva is 5, Ronaldo 7. Best player in the game for both footer is Nedved = 8. But all of them can score with either foot so it doesn't really matter. Also consider coming from the opposite side (i.e. a left footed player coming from the right and vice versa). There a thread about it somewhere sometime.

And yes I feel that if a right-footed player comes in from the left, he has more space and can curl a shot in as well.

Thing is - when you use opposite side strikers your passing options are somewhat narrower.

On the same notion - can you definitely have the player kick with their weak foot (I mean can you control it)?
