ML transfers-how?!?

Hey everybody!

I have WE8 with no translations patches whatever (because I bought it.....)

Now, I have started a new ML with my own team (great possiblity by the way). Now I have earned some points and I want to BUY players.

But I really have no idea how I should make transfers (because of the language).

Can somebody tell me how to transfer players in a ML?

Check the season calender for days when there is a handshake icon - those are the only times you can try to buy players.

Then go to the transfer option and then choose option 2 or 3. 3 lets you enter the search parameters to find whoever you want. 2 gives you a big list of players and you should be able to find someone decent in there. Go to that player and then click on the top option to try to buy him. Then set the values for transfer fee and wages and you should be on your way.

They summarise the info - transfers, how many points you have and stuff like that. Nothing to worry about.

where do you see these 'stars' that indicate how likely a players is to come to your team? I've heard people talking about them but haven't seen such a thing - i'm sure I'm missing something obvious.

It's in general settings on PES3 (transfer settings) but I'm not sure about PES4 or WE8..

when u go to transfers/search/any of the options it gives a list o players will come up depending on what ur looking for.. or if u wanna pick within the teams.. when u choose a team it should display all the players.. simply press "Right" on the d-pad.. there you go

thanks for trying to help me tiito, but I must be blind.

when I search I come to a screen w/ the results and it has the players of the left hand side and their stats on the right...i highlight a player and press 'right' on the D-pad, but nothing happens - i don't see any stars or anything anywhere on the screen.

Of course it is my first season of ML and i am about 4th from bottom of the WEFA rankings at the moment, but no matter what players I look at I never see any stars.

I know this is idiotic, but could you tell me exactly where on the screen these stars are supposed to appear?

edit: also, i'm playing WE8 w/ Fernando Translation Patch 0.6
