Right, obviously there are billions of posts talking of OMFG KOMPANY AND VANDEN BORRE ARE THE ****, BUY THEM BUY THEM NOW :)

But I thought I'd compile a little list of the EVEN more unknown players who I like =) Don't add anyone too obvious such as Rooney etc...

And take into account some of these are from my knowledge of football and not necessarily good on pro evo...but who knows the stats team on konami are pretty damn good :)

...........................1.(Carrizo).................................
2.(M.Torres)...3.(Garay)...4.(Criscito)..........5.(Ramon)
6.(Nasri(c)).......7.(Mavuba)...8.(De Guzman)..9.(Taarabt)
...........10.(Alexandre Pato)...11.(Ari).......................

12.Rivic
13.Modric
14.Anderson
15.Sammir
16.Bojan Krkic
17.Vela
18.M.Fernandez
19.Soldado
20.Tchite

Right:

Carrizo is a great starting goalie, he is young from Lazio, but the key aspect of his game is that he doesn't make a huge amounts of petty errors like most goalies, very important to an assured defence.

Miguel Torres(Real Madrid) is an excellent strong right back who wins headers and has a good tackle in him. Garay and Criscito is a right&left footed partnership at the heart of defence, very very strong with good threats in both boxes (and free kicks in Garay's case) Ramon is essentially a right back, but i needed to fit him in somewhere ;) Or use Insua from Liverpool

Nasri(Marseille) is a truly gifted playmaker, his passing is excellent, dictates the midfield, with the powerful prescence of Mavuba(Villareal) behind him who mops up EVERYTHING and has a good eye for a pass himself, they are a brilliant asset in midfield next to the 'engine' of De Guzman(Feyenoord), who is a strong runner with great feet, as well as the trickster/speedy Taarabt (Tottenham Hotspur), giving you a balanced pacey midfield

And up top we have the gem himself Alexandre Pato (AC Milan), grows to be one of the best, starting off with a good finish, he is talent that can flourish under the strong partnership with the powerful fellow Brazilian Ari(AZ)

12.Rivic - German Midfielder- Basically a young Elano, but 2-footed
13.Modric - Croatian Midfielder- Comfort on ball, good passing
14.Anderson - Brazilian Dictator - Controls Midfield, pacey passing
15.Sammir - Plays well with Nasri

16.Bojan Krkic - Barca Winger/Striker - Quick but lightweight
17.Vela - Arsenal on loan at Osasuno - Lighting up La Liga
18.M.Fernandez - Gifted Chilean for Villareal - In real life at least...

19.Soldado - Real Madrid youth, great finish and wins headers
20.Tchite - Two Footed striker, reasonable pace, good buy :)

Comments appreciated, tell me your own comments on these players and add more if you find any :)

Keep it subtle (Y)

Agger - yes, but then im biased.

Agi Pakarani!!! No one seems to mention him but ive been using him for a few years now. He's from Saudi Arabia.

I googled him and he's Al Katani , i think, in real life. Really quick, cheap, good shot acc.

Im surprised i havnt heard him mentioned yet. Anyone else use him?

Does this thread include Rookies? Sorry for being ignorant. If it does, then Duffy is quality [the Irish Makalele, according to me]. He's not as high profile as Bos, Shimizu, Shaw, etc.

If we're talking real players, then Francia [Arg. and somewhere in France] has been a faithful servant for the last 3 games - although he's a bit expensive now.

At the moment, I'm trying to line up this Japanese CB called Tulio...looks pretty good, and is clubless.

I've had Tulio in my ML team for 3 seasons. Hasn't developed that much, but has been rock solid at the back. Those 3 special ability stars for defence are obviously at work! I teamed him with a guy called Krazanac or something like that, and they have been a great pairing.

For my 'real' player tips:

J. guardado - reasonably young, decent growth, starts with ~80 stats average (over 80 for pace and acceleration which is key for a winger), LEFT FOOTED, easy to negotiate, good value.

Tmourkai is an absolute monster at the tip of a midfield diamond, can do it all, develops well and has decent pace and dribbling to boot. He's leading my scoring and second in assists playing in the hole behind the strikers, I do a lot of cutbacks and low crosses to let him unleash that awesome shot from the edge of the box :)

Kompany is a great defender and has enough pace/passing to act as DMF or overlapping CB, only downside is his growth curve is not as impressive as some others (still decent though).

Vast majority of my team are ML 'made up' players - just too good value :)

Georginio Wijnaldum, M. Richards (Matthew, not Micah), and Lucas (of Liverpool) all become outstanding midfielders and can be snagged with little trouble. Jean (made up, I believe) becomes a monster of a central defender, too.

I've also found a 17-yr-old WF named Griffiths (dunno if he's real) whose curve hits about 93, but man, is he ever gonna take some work to get there... :^|

Arda Turan ( Galatasaray ) is very quick and has a good shot in the legs.

I was just gonna say him, I like to call him the turkish Ronaldo.

These are players that have shocked me in there future days.

Castillo (mexican at city in real life on loan)
Guardado (at depor, another mexican)
Modric
Micah Richards
Raul Garcia (Atletico)
Gourchuff (AC milan french pundits say he is the next Zidane...on pes he aint far off)
Kompany of course
Nani
Odonkor (betis)
Jesus Navas (Sevilla)
Pato (wow)
Fernandez the Chiliean
Giovinco (on loan at empoli from juve)

tmorautki is a great call guys :) However for those like me, who used an option file with kits etc... his real name is Trochowski for Germany (Y)

Also if you have an up to date file, Banega is amazing in real life, and very good on the game for Valencia
