MLO - Beginner´s bonus?

The thing is this: I play a lot of MLO in coach mode (over 100 games) and i have noticed a funny thing, which could be a coincidence, but at the moment i´m not sure it is. Whenever i play against someone who still has a lot of the default players like minanda, ordaz, al moubarki, etc. i lose a considerable number of games, despite the fact i have a decent squad and i always setup my team according to form, meaning that i never use a player with a blue or a purple arrow.

Now the question is this: Could it be that Konami has built in some sort of beginner´s bonus so that people that are starting with the mlo don´t get too frustrated at the start.

And if they have, don´t you think this is really unfair. I mean what is the point of buying players at all, if your team is just gonna get worse by doing so.

Don't know about a beginners bonus hahaha I've lost almost all my games so far, I have enough to buy maybe one or two decent players but I think Ill try a bit longer with the default guys until I can really go for it on the transfer front, for now I just defend defend defend and hit on the break lol, had a couple of decent draws as well, I say decent draws because my opposition have on occasion been absolutely speed demons at times i.e. Agbonlahor, Aguero and Lennon, but for the most part I've been beaten quite comfortably with only my tactics giving me a slight chance, no beginners bonus for me Im afraid :(

I have noticed this too. It is not coincidence that I lose more often to lesser division teams than teams that are on par with my own.

Im not sure tbh, I have a strong first eleven. I have only come across the odd default 11 in my 200+ games. But I have never lost to them. The weakest kind of teams I have lost too, are people with about 8-9 default players with a World class strike force.. on Ronaldo/ Rooney/ Drogba etc.. they will take the 1-2 chances that get created from past experiences.. lol

Many of my recent defeats have been dubious cursor control/ player reaction related though. I even drew 1-1 with some who had a squad value of 62 million odd, and his goal was a Bale deflected shot from 4 yards out in injury time -.-

Anyone i come across with such a squad is going directly on the xbox 360 blacklist for me. These guys are totally disrespectful both to the game as well as to their opponents. I played against a Ronaldo one-man-show yesterday and i wrote him a message afterwards telling him that Ronaldo noobs should just stick to fifa. I felt sorry for that afterwards. Probably was only a 12-year old just starting with the MLO.

If you had actually read the post, you would have seen that I´m talking about the coach mode. This would actually mean that the computer is crap.
Besides, I never claimed to be a world class PES player, did I?

One thing I hate about talking football games in the internet is that there must always be that one guy who comes along and all he has to say to any discussion is how good he is in the game.
As if anybody cared.

Why not start a thread called 'Look how awesome I am?' then you can see how many people give a toss!


RE: The original post, Not sure - perhaps people with the default squad are more defensive - i find defensive is better on Coach mode. This might explain it. Why not do an experiment? Create 1 account using just defaults on coach, and another squad where you build the team up on coach. I think after 100 or so matches with each you would see if you are correct.

Get analysing!!!
