I get £500,000 per game for MyPes... not 300,000 (what currency?)

As I stated in another thread, Pastore is brilliant.
Hazard is brilliant too. Lump him on the wing and if you know how to do tricks, he can bamboozle and leave defenders for dead with his pace.
I love how now, the speed merchant isn't a necessity for a quick winger to beat defenders.
I also have Iker Muniain as back up and he can cause serious damage too.

Callejón is a brilliant player too, very versatile. He's scored and created so many goals for me. Fast strong and can dribble and finish, what more do you want?

Centre of the park, I like Wilshere, he's a tidy player that can hold onto the ball and distribute it beautifully. But he lacks that 'oomph' when going for long rangers.
Canales is also great and both are nicely priced.

Defensively, I use S.Coates. Big and strong (196cm/6'6), he wins headers all days and scores from corners too. Not bad defensive ability either.
I also have Micah Richards. He's brilliant to put on when you are up against fast players. He Keeps up with them with his pace and shrugs them off with his impressive strength.

What 300k bonus per game.. shiiiit. I still dunno how you guys have all those top players, that extra 300k pre win is just gunna help keep me afloat with macheda and berreto :( lol

Play competitions, they can earn you a lot and are only 5 min matches, excepting the final.

Or if you can't be arsed and want to watch tv, stick it on coach mode, though I cannot give you advice on formation etc, as I'm new to it myself and not very good at this particular mode xD

On a side note, coach mode is great if you got relatively shit players. I had a bunch of star players and lost....1-3 to a default team (that was just embarrassing haha)

Also when you can, improve the quality of players, they will bring in more money per match. I typically get around the £4 million mark per win (though you get killed with contracts, so it evens out somewhat, just rotate your players around and use subs EVERY game).

Park-Ji-Sung is good for any part of Midfield. Will cost about £10 million but well worth it.

If you want to make money, buy players on blue or purple and release them on red. Luka Modric for instance, is 4million less on blue then he is red. Sell them on red on their last day. That way you get to use the best of them before finding a replacement, who once again should be be non higher then green if you want to make a profit.

Don't buy expensive players on Red, you're wasting money unless you've got 100's of million, then I suppose it doesn't matter.

Interesting, I didn't know that player prices fluctuated depending on form as well.:eek:hmy:

Yes it does, but it varies between players. For instance, Luis Suarez, Patrice Evra, Lassana Diarra and Luka Modric, are all roughly £4m less when bought on purple/blue then red.

David Villa is only about £700,000 more bought on green then red so not much profit to be made with him.

The only players worth buying on red are the inexpensive one's like Barreto or Mphela. The Superstar players are better to be bought on blue, then you have more time with them, then sell and perhaps make a sizable profit but it depends on the player. Check out their valuation, see how most expensive and inexpensive they are.

Well having looked at the pattern of pricing, I think the price changes simply because players sell the player when the form is low, thus resulting in less owners and causes the valuation to be cheaper, as oppose to only because of the form arrow.
And when you factor in the fact you have to pay for 10 games' worth of contract, you can't really make a profit on it.
Thats my take on the matter anyway

Well you can make a profit by buying players when they are not on red form, and then selling them when they are on red form.

Of course, the tradeoff is that keeping a player on red form is obviously beneficial for your team. And buying players out of form will always take a while before their form is good.

But yeah, if you're strictly looking to make a profit and don't care much about form, then buy players when their form is rising and sell at the peak. Its a good strategy to use if you're not a very active player.

As an extreme example, lets say you buy Messi when his form is purple (arrow down). Don't log in for like a week and then sell him (after playing a few games of course) for a profit in the millions.

I use euros as my currency and I only get 300K. Next time I play I will try changing to pounds, but I don't expect it to change anything. Last year it didn't anyway, if a player cost 10 million pounds, he would just cost 10 million euros if you changed the currency.

And plus, the amount in pounds should technically speaking be lower than the amount in euros, so there must be something else happening here for you to get 500K. I'm in division 1, but still get just 300K. Maybe its related to the value of the squad? I noticed you mentioned several very good players like Pastore and Richards, I'm still using mainly 60-75 rated players.

to be honest guys, trading players for money isn't going to get you very far, winning games is the way to go, so just keep the red arrow players

Winning competition is the way to go. But it isn't easy.

I'm not talking about selling a player as soon as he turns ted. I keep him for a few days and when I see his form is going back to orange I sell.

It depends on the player. Some players you barely make any money and it's not worth it.

Van der Mirch

People, I want you all to know how good Van der Mirch is, his average level is not stunning, but he is very fast and shoots on goal very hard and good. I just resigned him for 20 matches. When you give him a through pass behind te defense, the chance for a goal is really huge.

Use R2+X.. Hold both down as he gets near you, then when you're close enough or he's about to sprint off release R2 and bam! The ball's yours. Defending is immense this year.

Sure, but it's important to understand. Throwing away money isn't my style. For example, I was about to buy a new keeper, and sell my current one, but his price is down by 2 million because he's purple, so I'll wait now.

I would love if someone could somehow confirm though if the fluctuations are player/market induced (i.e. real) or somehow imposed by the game itself. Opinion is one thing, but there should be some way to prove it one way or another. If you keep an eye on the number of users for a certain player over a period of time I think it should be clear. One reason it seems like the fluctuations are imposed by the game though is that they seem to me to happen all of a sudden.

Also as for recommendations:

Ribery (one of the best in the game imo)
Song (great stamina and body balance)
Rosina (his body balance is low but that matters less this year)
Van Persie (free kicks and goals)
Aboutraika (awesome deal, use as AMF)
Villa (tracking back and scoring goals)
Eto'o (almost unstoppable on red)

Heres a few players that I've had that I have really enjoyed and have been really useful - Most will already been known.

Mphela
Barretto - play as RM/LM - Everyone knows these two and can be pretty much immediate purchases.
Petorbanov - Play as RWF
Macheda - Also can be an immediate purchase, scored lots for me for such a low stat player.
Alan - Play as RWF
Sonogo - my second all time top scorer
Chicarito - scored goals for fun
Vanden borre - utility man
Henrique - great cheap CB
Caicada - I think thats how you spell it, great LB and RB
Scezney - really good solid and tall keeper
Otamendi - solid CB
C. Rodrigues - play as LM/RM
James Rodrigues - play as LM/CM/RM
Baptista - very strong pacey and scores alot
Marin - one stage before Hazard and johnson - great.
Luis Suarez - scored bucket loads for me
Anelka - also scored plenty
Hazard - fantastic - 1 stage before Messi/Ronaldo
Adam Johnson - same as hazard
Pato - best striker I've owned so far
Higuain - don't like him in real life but he's solid in this, scored most goals for my MLO team aswell.
Mavuba - a player with either enforcer or anchor man - Vital for my team
Witsel - Great all rounder
Jordan henderson - great midfielder
Cleverley - also a great midfielder
Anton ferdinand - solid medium defender who can play across the back 4
Casillas - Best kepper I've found so far to stop the 'dribble round keeper players'

I bought all these when they were red, there's loads more players that I really enjoyed playing with but I can't remember them all, especially some of the earlier guys. There a CM I can't remember the name of and a CF who I had early on who were awesome... I'll try remember
