Now I am no where near as far on as some of the people who have the beast players already in their ranks, and the full squads of superstars. But I have just started to improve dramatically in my fortunes. So here's a few things to do if your struggling in the MLO and more importantly, struggling financially in MLO.
Before you start:
Go to facebook and download the MyPES app ( www.facebook.com/mypes ) then register and link it to your PES2012 in game, this is vital, it gives you an extra 300k every single game, doing this means that even if you are losing you can atleast afford to keep your team afloat with your current players (poor guys ive been playing occasionally who start with 8 men bcos its all they have)
Contracts and transfers:
With the change on online this year, its best to wait to make transfers, play a few games with your default squad until you get told that 'so and so is up for a contract renewal', 2 games later and they will be unable to play for you; when this happens, sell them, and then buy a slightly better player for your team. I would do this for nearly every player except Ettori and mr super centre back, but for all others I would swap. Buy someone who is say 69/70 skill, then do this for the next person that runs out of contract, then the next etc, So you end up with a squad of 69/70's then it starts again slowly improving your squad with each time. When you find a player you really like and think will stay in your team for a while then sign them up on a 50 week contract.
Gamestyle:
Play how you want to play, but learn how to defend, defending properly and tracking back is key to success.
Don't always sprint, don't let your players lose position too much.
Play to your team strengths and buy to suit your team.
I personally play a fluid passing game making triangles and keeping possession. Most people seem to just try and get speed merchants and run past lesser players, I don't really like this as its not real football... but each to their own.
As I said, this won't help anyone but the newcomer really, most are further on than me in the OML anyway. But if your a newbie then maybe it might help you progress.
