I have just seen some more great new about Pes 2009.

Gamekyo.com (formely jeuxfrance.com) informs that Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 has been dated. "The game will be released on October 15 in Europe and during November in Japan. Konami announced a release date for its demo on Xbox Live and PSN, scheduled for September 11, just like FIFA 2009.

So not only has the demo date been confirmed but the release date has been set even soon. So this is great news for all Pes Fans.

No game will be released in the UK on October 15 as that is a Wednesday, not a Friday. I still believe October 17 as the true release date for PC, PS3 and 360.

Might not come out but not only has it been confirmed but the last two Pro's i have bought i have got them from Game on Wednesday.

Who have illegally broken the release date which, as an industry standard, is Friday in the UK and Monday in the US. The only game released on a different day, if I remember correctly, is Grand Theft Auto.

Football Manager, FIFA and PES regularly have their release date illegally broken by Game a day or two early and, subsequently, by the likes of HMV.

I think it is very reliable because not only was it confirmed by Konami but also it came from gaming access which has been quite reliable in the past.

In Belgium it always is Wednesday or Thursday.
Release date here is 16th October, but like last year it will be sooner.
So I think it will be the 15th :)

It's the famous Dutch Bart Smit company who always sells the game to soon :w00t

its says october the 15th for europe. europe is a big ass lace, i can bet that it will be released in some places across europe on that date. i think france got it earlier than us in the uk last year. can guarntee Game will have it on sale, and places like play.com will have dispatched tuesday or wednesday

Whoever said MONDAY is the standard industry release for games in the USA is wrong. Games can come out any time but 95% of the time its tuesday.

I'm going with October 17th for the PC release in the UK, and if it's any earlier then I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Any idea on when the PS2 version will be released? Some of us here (me included) still can't afford to buy a PS3.
