More manual, more organic=simulation

In the old days we all played pes becuase it simulated football. Passing and shooting had much more depth and the analogue manual passing could certainly compete with fifa's excellent manual system. next gen pes feels so robotic and simplistic, there is very little gameplay depth compared to older versions of the game it seems to be aimed at a new audience. Before i start with my suggestions i want to make clear this is purely my efforts to make the game great again as i have no idea how to programme a football game to be more organic. I am not simply bashing the game for no reason.

Passing needs to be improved, this will make it more difficult and potentialy put off some consumers but the gameplay would be so much more rewarding. There is a reason why so many people complain about the gaming feeling stale and robotic, passing is part of this. Even the current manual passing on pes still feels automatic and takes no thought or skill.

Ball physics coupled with a better passing system would improve the dynamics of the game. Angle of the player, body position, stance and stats and the power you put on the pass should dictate where the ball goes, this is incredibally watered down in pes10 and is one of the reasons i enjoy the ps2 version of the game much more than the next gen version.

The same laws should apply to shooting which again for some reason feels very automated although there are certainly improvements.

Konami simply need to focus on the gameplay. Look at how many excellent game modes pes 10 has but that doesn't matter if the gameplay doesn't stand up. I am not saying the game is unplayable the current version of pes is just so different to what made us love pes in the first place. If the ball becomes a seperate entity, passing is worked on and animations and an improved physics systems are put in place this game will be back, sadly i think konami are more concerned with gimmicks, i truly hope im wrong.

i agree with eveything you said but this statement is the most important to me. When i use the right analog stick to manual pass , its more difficult but more rewarding and not scripted on where the pass will actually land which is great.

I just wish they tuned the manual passing a bit because it feels every pass i make is off target but that can be fixed and if konami puts a option onilne and offline where you can turn on or off manual passing and a screen that tells you that your opponent is using manual or no so it wont be unfair to the other user.

Also i feel the manual passing mode would be great with button use instead of the stick .

yes i agree, the manual pass would work well on the x button.

to make pes a simulation these aspects will have to be reworked:
-Ball physics- the ball needs to bounce more when running as at the moment the ball looks like it is glued to the floor.
-shooting sensitivity- when you shoot from anywhere regardless of power or place the ball always seems to go on target, it should be changed so that it should blaze wide or go over the cross bar more often.
-game speed- The ideal speed should be alot slower like pes4 speed and not fifa speed.
-passing- When passing the ball should not go in a straight line but go in a curve as this makes it look more real and it gives more room for interception by the other team.
-Animations- The current player animations are too fast and should be slowed down and refined to look more realistic.
-Tackling- Block tackles should look more realistic as currently the player just stands in the way and somehow gets possession of the ball. The slide tackles should also look more realistic as the player only slide tackles after the opposition player begins to run away.
AI- the oppostion should be much more offensive as I find that the current AI hardly tackle and when in possession of the ball they always pass back.
Goalkeepers- The current goalkeepers rarely hold the ball when someone shoots the ball straight at them and they always fumble the ball. The goalkeepers should hold the ball more and they should go for the player in one on one's and not standing there

hope you guys agree with my post and im looking forward to your comments
