Which one is more realistic. I played with Normal and am content with the improvements but how's the growth with Dynamic? Which one do you guys perfer?

I believe on Dynamic everything goes up and down way faster. Not sure if it has something to do with how much u play them tho..

But if the player is young and doesn't play often does he develop at all when he's not playing? and if a player is old and plays often does he drop a whole lot less?

Chicharito as an example for me played 28 matches in 3 years. That was enough for him to currently be an 87 for me. He starts at 74 I believe too. This is with dynamic.

dynamic, if you score 30 goals in a season with one player he will grow tremondously, on the hand if you have a player who doesn't do anything, his ratings will drop

I am tempted to start two masterleagues... one using normal and one using dynamic then.

Do people have their preferences?

I think both a great systems and work well, however I find normal is more realistic having tried both. On dynamic for example melvut erdinc scored 25 goals or so in two seasons, he grew from 75 to 86, with normal he would have grown to 80-82. Dynamic is based more on performances, I prefer normal as it seems to take everything into consideration whilst giving you realistic growth curves. Well done to konami for creating to two systems that actually work well.

Cheers for the help.

I might start two and see how it goes on each one.

Yeah hats off to Konami... Fifa couldnt even get one growth system to work...broken and annoying... apparantly Fifa think that players under 22 dont grow at all.

In FIFA nobody grows at all! The only players that will grow is Messi and other superstars while 95% of the players will be untouched.. I heard stories of people scoring 60 goals in 2 seasons with player X and they don't grow a point! I gave up on that game, completely awful..

BTW, can someone further explain the normal growth system to me? Would a player grow tremendously if I start him if he's like 18, 68 rating playing in Serie A?

Yep i know that. i did 5 seasons on CM before getting bored and sick of it. I gave up on the growth system. And yep.. i had players like Bebe who was 64OVR and in 4 seasons scored 60+goals and didnt go up... as a winger thats a hell of a lot.

IIRC the growth is pretty good on normal and is how you play them too but a bit more standard. If the normal growth is a bit like Pes2010 then a player 68 at 18 could be 78+ in maybe 4 seasons... I cannot remember fully how the growth works in ten but it should be along those lines.
Give it a try and see what you come up with. I know in ten i have Giovinco go from 78 to 89 in about 4-5 seasons as he played most games and could net a lot of goals.

But in this one it might be a little different but i dont think it will have been changed too drastically.

Yeah, I remember reading someone on the FIFA forums talking about how they scored 60+ goals with Bebe and he didn't grow a point. Was that you?

And I also think the growth is a normal pace which is good for me. I had players like Ruskin(youth academy) grow from 68 to 73 in like 1 season which is good. Other young players grow at a young at steady pace.

It also helps to have a great coach to help improve progress, I hired one of the best coaches and the available points for training jumped from like 18 to 24 i believe.

Yeh that was me who was going on about that. Haha.

Growth on pes has always been good. They have always managed to have a balance between realistic growth and enough growth to make it entertaining for the player.

I like Dynamic, to me it reflects the players confidence. For instance, when they're playing well and consistent it reflects their attributes and vice versa. Normal is cool but to slow for my taste although realistic.

To hell with fifa
