So ok... I really need some more advice. Basically I started with Fenerbahce in D2 with the original lineup after I added all the strongest teams into Pes league and D2.

I keep unlocking and editing classical players and for the life of me I could not get one so far. So Milan's keeper is Ivan Yashin making it quite hard to score and Boban went elsewhere too... :(

I think my problem is team ranking. I am still ranked 140 though I am in PES league which has the highest standing and I finished it 5th...

And when I try to get decent players (75-78) they reject because they don't want to compete for places.

Good players never come...

And the worst of all I cannot keep some of my players with previous wages so my team is down to 15 men!

What you guys think? Was I doomed because I started in D2?

the "secret" of this game is to hire young players with a lot of potential, i always hire them for almost nothing but i keep them for 5 years. 5 years later they are 90-105 asking for a fortune in wages so i rarely renew their contracts and start the cicle again gettin new young players

You started with the default lineup of the team or PES default line-up? Try signing youths called Shimizu and Schwarz if there are in your youth team.
