More volleying!

I don't know if this has already been brought up but... I hardly do any volleys. Maybe Im not doing something right. We should be able to do more volleying, bicycle kicks etc. Just like Fifa I think this would be soo much better for Pro 2011. What do you guys think of this?

I think pes2010 was good for vollies! ive got some really good goals saved from volleying etc!!! you just gotta wait for the right moment!

The vollying in PES2010 was good actually.

I like doing a chipped through ball to Torres and then he vollys it in. It's simple and fun

the chipped through balls dont really work for me i dont if its cus im dooing them at the wrong moment or what but they normally go straight through to the keeper!!!

Sometimes in pes10 the ball will be at ideal height for the player to volley it but regardless of the timing, he will instead attempt a diving header. That was annoying and something they need to sort out.

yea that pisses me off from time to time but i feel generally the timing and volleying was spot on! scored some good timed bicycle kicks etc so not one of the major things they need to improve...

If im honest i dont think the vollys were as good as before like edge of the box the player would always let it bounce and then shoot i think becuase of the slight button lag, i think in 2011 with the new anmation they will look and work much better.

You should have to press different buttons to attempt a header or volley. Look at Peter Crouch, with his lanky legs he often volleys balls that are four feet in the air - the opposite being today's England game where Terry attempts a diving header 12 inches off the turf.

^^^ Terry is a proper defender, and a proper central defender prefers headers from kicks.It's safer, less chances for the ball to bounce and touch the hand, and of course, defender's head is usually empty,so he's not using it for any other purposes than hitting the ball.
