Asturias69 no man, all you do is create one alternate account and boot up the game all your edit data will not load up it will be as if you just booted up the game on day one. But it creates new system save data on the HDD as normal once that is done no need to do anything else. Exit the game and delete the account you created, now once you log back into your normal account and boot up the game it will load all your stuff as normal but only now you can edit MGT OF without having to give up trophies. As far as why this works i have no clue, im guessing the system data saved from the "other" account somehow counter acts the lock created once you try editing MGT OF but that just a guess. But give it a try it works i did and have trophies up an running and am able to alter whatever my heart desires with no compromise cheers...

Thanks mrgametight for the update. At least with PES2009, once I used just an option file that had bayern and werder, and the players appeared, and I didn t had the players unlocked yet. So I guess Bayern and Werder should work fine without the system data.

the same problem persisted after carefully following your steps. What happens is that it created the PES 2010 save data file with the 70+ files in it, but once i start the game nothing is there. Than when i go back to the saved game data folder on the game menu, there is an additional folder in it with the 1 file that just got created when i started the game up.

When you say to copy the OF over first do you mean the file marked as EDIT DATA? The only files i have gotten are labled EDIT DATA, SYSTEM DATA and than the png's for kits etc. i.e. i have not gotten a file called OF or OPTION FILE. Just to make that clear.

Any ideas now?

Sorry I was in a meeting, and Yes when I said Copy the OF I'm trying to say the Edit Data file only.

HELP contd...

HEY GUYS I FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK and all i have to say is wooooooooooofuckingoooooooooow! The its look amazing and the logs as well. Player names are all in tact also.

To Mrgametight and to Asturias69 thank you very much, you've been more than helpful and i apologise for all the questions. It was nothing of your fault or of the OF, it was simply my lack of attention to detail. I had every detail covered minus the fact that i needed to load the stuff from an OF specifically labled as BLUS 30404. My problem was i had a few OF's from other sites/users and didn't know that the BLUS etc was a version #. So i was loading right files for ps3, but not for the right version.

I do have one more question though. As for the rest of the updates that Mrgametight is doing, where will the link to them be posted? Will it be on one of the forum pages or how will i know where to specifically get Mrgametight's. I dont want to trust anyone elses as yours are proven and tested and i am now enjoying my first ever pes game with proper kits, names, etc.

Great option File, easy instructions and totally worth it. Its' ashame that your done though.

Quick question, someone posted earlier that if you edit something yourself after getting the option file that you wont be able to get any more trophies. Is this true?

Because I got the OF did the thing that you said to do on the first post, and was able to get trophies. I then went into the edit mode and changed a couple of things. Will i say be able to get trophies?

Just to confirm Mrgametight the Option File works and Bayern and Werder appear, I copied both the Edit Data and the System Data and got all the Free Agents. The Names are correct both for the Clubs and for the Players.

Quick question I couldn't find the Classic England team, where does it appear?

Confirmed, just won 2 trophies even after copying Mrgametight Edit Data and System Data files, following the instructions the Romoors666 posted.

ok, a few questions. in order to be able to use mgt's system data and still get trophies, i should start a new ps3 account and boot up the game, exit out, and use my original account and it should be fine. should i alreayd have the edit data info and system data info copied onto the ps3 hard drive? should i delete all my pes 2010 files first, start the game with the new account, exit out, copy all the edit data and system data, and THEN boot the game with my new account? im sorry, i dont wanna sound like a noob, i just wanna do this right.

i would load mine on your original name AND THEN make the new name..but romors is the man with that he knows better then i do Asturias too...

Asturias Classic England is in other teams and its got like its own list of other teams...unlocking those hidden teams doesnt take long maybe an hour each on 5 minutes. i just was tired and didnt feel like doing brazil or argentina

I won the Europe Cup with France but I cann't find your Classic England or my Classic France, and in other I'm seeing only player from the Bundesleague, and the Free Agents you edited or opened.

Any sugestions where to look? Or in this PES there are No Classic Teams? Let me try winning a World Cup.

if you go to edit team and when choosing the area where they are from it would be alllllllllll the way to the right past other players.... and you dont play the europe cup to unlock the classic teams you win the world cup

Well everyone I have finished what I said I would do here are a few instructions on how to install it credit to So Pro They Go Whoa for this:

Please note: There have been some people saying that Trophies have been locked because of downloading an Option File. What I did was delete my own Edit Data before copying over the one from the OF. I can confirm this worked as I got the Last Minute Win trophy after installing the Option File.

1. Download the Option File
2. Unzip it (I unzip it onto my desktop using WinRAR)
3. Insert USB stick into PC
4. Make a new folder on your USB called PS3, then inside that create another folder called SAVEDATA
5. Put the OF into the SAVEDATA folder, so on your USB you will have PS3>SAVEDATA>all the folders from the OF
6. Plug USB stick into PS3
7. Go to Game-Saved Data Utility
8. Find your USB stick
9. All the kits etc should show as single files, along with an Edit Data file, and a System Data file
10. Start at the first kit, press Triangle while you are on it, a Copy option will appear
11. Copy onto your PS3
12. Repeat for all kits (this may take about 10 minutes but it is worth it)
13. Also copy the Edit Data from the OF, but NOT the System Data
14. Unplug your USB stick
15. Load up PES2010
16. Voila!

Another trophies tip from romors

Hey guys i finally found a fix to the trophies problem! Simply boot up your PS3 and create a new account on the XMB i repeat a new account on the actual PS3 itself, once done boot up PES using the new account you just created. Now let the game load all the way to the main menu, once thats up simply exit the game. Now log back into your PS3 with your normal account boot up the game and viola next time you score that late winnner BAM you just won a trophy! Enjoy


Things you can find in the OF
Corrected team names
Corrected Cup and league names
Removed Duplicate player names from national teams
Correct player names
All emblems put in the game for the EPL and La Liga teams
Kits done for the EPL (Thanks to JACKWHOBRA's excellent template and pngs)
LA Liga kits done thanks to rosh11, umbroboy, and rabaldhino
Werder Bremen and Bayern both created..with emblems and kits, and the formations the best i could. I put all the unlocked players on both squads. for Bayern i made the missing players so they are complete. Werder i left off like 8 younger players due to me not being able to find stats or apperances for them.. Werder's squad has 23 players in it so it should be ok
Updated EPL squad numbers
Did all the transfers for the MAJOR 5 leagues the other teams i did a couple here and there.

Things not done

National Team Kits...didnt have time to do these not sure if i will
Chants...im adding my own i suggest if you want you guys do the same
Transfers...not gonna touch it until the update if there is a update comes out.

Sorry guys but i had to fix some kit pngs and i lost track of which numbers were the extras so all the kits are in these downloads. I didnt do a partial ADD ON if you will...Secondly my SYSTEM DATA IS CONTAINED IN THESE DOWNLOADS. to my understanding you dont even need to install it but if you do please be aware that your trophies may not work anymore(although the tips may work to fix this). However if you WANT WERDER AND BAYERN you may have to download the system file as they contain the unlocked players renamed and on the squads. Werder and Bayern are in the other team Bs first two slots. Hopefully it works out ok. let me know if it doesnt ill try and help the best i can!

If you change the Language the Correct Names are changed, try your Edit Data with English and the Names will appear corrected.

And thanks Mrgametight I just unlocked Classic France, but the weird thing is that even after copying your System Data file I didn't got the Classic English.

problem loading option file

after you've unzipped the option file and ceated the various folders on your usb do you have to copy the entire option file you unzipped or copy the individual files separately into the "SAVEDDATA" folder?
