Much more fun than FIFA 10

I must admit I hated PES 2010 when I first played it. Mainly because I couldn't just go mazy runs with Kaka and Messi all the time and score. However the more I played the more I enjoyed it. To me it feels like the most balanced PES in recent years. Yes you can still dribble with Kaka, Messi and Ronaldo but they dominate as much as they used to. Passing is also improved.

I'm a PC gamer but bought a Playstation 3 last week with FIFA 10. At first I was amazed with FIFA's animations and passing. However after a while the game just feels boring. It's just throughball after throughball.

I mainly play online multiplayer most of the time and this is where PES 2010 really destroys FIFA. A PES 2010 multiplayer game is end to end excitement throughout with lots of chances at goal. In FIFA most of the time you are just looking for that one throughball which is difficult to come by.

If I am losing 2-0 in PES 2010 I know I still have a chance to comeback, in FIFA you have almost no chance because of how few scoring opportunities there are. Even the really good players find it hard to score against me a FIFA beginner. Whereas in PES a good player will usually hammer a newbie. There is more reward in PES 2010.

The online thing that PES can really improve on is the animations of the players which is still Playstation 2 quality in most cases.

Well, you cared enough to respond to his post. And then you took the extra 30 seconds to hold down "shift 1" so that you could really drive home your point. If you actually don't care, why did you even bother to click on this thread in the first place?

i dunno. the virtual pro thing is just genius. playing online/offline with him and hes always improving etc

i can see your point bout pes but the things like animations etc make the game all worth while for me...plus the fact i have more people to play with/against with fifa makes it more fun for me

until Konami can get the little things spot on like fifa then therers no going back. plus in fifa the game runs smoother, the ref allows play to continue anytime he can, in pes its always freekicks and only a couple of times was i lucky enough to play a quick freekick

im new to fifa, im sure ill find more things soon enough

^But you're only seeing the bad side of pes and the bright side of fifa. They both have the good and bad.
