My 2 cents on PES10

It's a fucking disgrace!

Here are some things that makes me fucking wince...

ML you have to sacrifice two leagues to choose teams from and you can create 3 other leagues with multi regional teams, FUCK SAKE! how can Konami overlook that?!

Game speed...did they make it faster since the demo, it's so unrealistic and to the point makes the game for me unplayable.

Passing any type of pass be it Through ball the 360 control should make passing better yet it doesn't regular passing is like manual passing in the old pes, half the time i'm in the last 3rd i seem to pass the ball into an empty space no player is near.

The second part of passing... the fact you have to punch the buttons sometimes more than 3 times to get the ball out your feet, now this makes weighing a pass which in old pes was really good but now extinct as you have to press hard to get the ball away and makes your over hit everything.

I punched the X button more than Bobby Brown did Whitney.

Players getting in the way utter shambolic your running with the ball now the player infront should be running too and maybe into channels but no he stands still and knocks you off the ball.

Players gliding due to the gameplay being so fast sometimes you see players glide into position, really stupid thing to overlook.

And the last thing possibly the worst thing and i couldn't give a fuck if an update would easily rectify it...transfers how the fuck are they not sorted i mean jesus christ. dispicable, FIFA was right on and they released it 3 weeks early!

I dont seem to have any of these problems you speak of i think you must just suck at the game i seem to always be able to pick a pass or through ball & i play on Top Player maybe you should change your match level to Amateur or evan Beginner maybe you should practice a bit more before crying like a little baby the only problem that i have with the game is a few shocking ref decisions

Overall fifa 10 is indeed better........... if you really play like you want it is so realistic.....it's the best game to date .......I feel bad seen PES go down like this when they were in glory during the pS2 days

Theres no big depth here, its not about mastering a deep complex game. Its about finding a work around the rules put in place by the developers to make the game work, rather than making an innovative system that plays a balanced game.

After ten years of PES i've decided to call it a day, glad i rented the game first this year, i'll not be picking up FIFA either as EA's marketing approach makes me feel a bit sick and i'd rather suck satans cock:no:,(that and its shite)
I won't be giving Konami anymore cash and other people should'ent, its a another slap in the face for such an old loyal fanbase, its seem there's no decent footie game to play this Crimbo so fuck it, i'm gonna move genre's and play some of the much more innovative games coming out recently that use the full power of my PS3

If you dont like it you just need to find the right team and system. I was juve and was hating it. Changed to Madrid and now am loving it having to manage my squad etc and finding the right system. I love using Lazio aswell. I also hate using Barca. You just need to find the right team and i bet most of the people who dont like it will experiance a complete turnaround.

Personally i think it is the best pes to date and would reccomend it to any die hard pes fan as it was returned to its former glory, and even though i respect yoru opinion i still do not think the game has been out long enough for everyone to adapt properly and learn the ins and outs of the new systems.

Also i haveto outline how much i DISAGREE about passing, the passing is an absolute joy! Maybe your doing it wrong?

Don't be a fucking moron, i started ML on Top player, and won the league with a an overall rating of 71 team.

I'm third in D1 and i edited both Divisions with all the best teams from English, Italian, Spanish leagues some other good teams too. strong teams in D2 aswell.

Fact is the game frustrates me due to poor ball physics on passing. And off ball movement of players and unrealistic gamespeed.

Your probably a kid who's happy to get new updated teamand be amazed at the graphics but i hate the fact this game is dying when it was fucking great years back.

Also if you've cared to read any of my posts pre PES10 release you'd see me state numerous times to add a 6th level of difficulty. So fuck off you silly cunt.

Is that its excuse? because in real life you cant dribble and walk through to goal and score.

Theres nothing wrong with the method its teh execution thats poor.

It doesnt let you play the way you want to, it makes you play the way it wants too, theres a massive difference.

Players dont move off the ball intelligently, the cpu can catch even the fastest player with the ball even with the slowest. the cpu DOES STUFF FOR YOU. Dear me, when i hit a shot and teh keeper saved it the cpu scored the rebound for me!!! When i chanced the cursor to unassisted it started passing and tackling for me.

Thats not realism, its a sham.

No team should be able to continually knock around one touch passes around the back on pro difficulty unless you are playing Barca, not Paok.

And why cant you dribble? Why cant you do skill? Why cant i pass it beyond one of my players too another? Why are my crosses random, sometimes deep and high and sometimes whipped in? I am not in control here, the computer is. Same with shots, all completely random, not directed by me at all.

Ehm, i wasnt making excuses dunno where that came from, i was telling how i find the game and what my opinion is. Not trying to please you and fall inline with how you find the game.

It plays exactly how we asked it to play... People continuously complained last year that Konami had made an arcade game and not a simulation. So what do they do? They this time make a game where you cant win a game through having just one fast player who can finish. You have to involve the whole team. Wait a sec, isnt that what real football is, a team game? Do you not have to pass the ball to make space, spread the play? Yes there are shocking decisions and flaws to it, it gets you angry, frustrated, but it also fills you with elation. Thats what every real football fan experiences when they watch a game.

Players do move off the ball fine, you obviously havent been able to learn how to or cant figure out the art of timing a pass and sending players on runs in anticipation for a through ball. You can dribble past players and "do skill" as you put it, just not in the same way you could in previous PES's. They have made it harder, ehm again, made it more realistic. You just have to use your R2 button in a different way, instead on just holding it down and changing direction. Fuck me, wheres the fun in that?

Crosses go where you want them to... The early balls in are even better now too... Its all down to the power gauge, direction you push on the analogue and number of taps you give the circle button, or X if youre cutting back. You have complete control... I sense you merely dont know how to play this game.

Its a sad state of affairs when you expect everyone to hate the game as you do, if you dont like it fine, youre entitled to your opinion but dont try and make me sound like a tit and come across all aggressive for having my own opinion on the game.

Pes also have lost me , not sure permanently but the wait is too long for Psp to release. Learn a lesson from Fifa konami and release them on all formats at the same time

Well that is what i think anyways and of course some will disagree but i still think those who have major major flaws with the game need to try a different approach maybe to see what i see....

Ive just been playing round with the assist setting for the first time ever and omg they make a massive influence on the game. I did a 'Pressure' one and Benzema was chasing down everyone who had the ball and when the ball moved into midfield the surrounding players all hounded their guy and mobbed him.

Once i had the ball back i hit 'All out attack' and omfg does it work. I had the ball with Van der Vaart and all my offensive players were making propa attacking runs and deadly possitions. KAKA was belting down the wing non-stop, Ronaldo was belting down the other with everyone else moving all over the place creating space. I then realised it was leaving me exposed to the counter and so then put myself on counter assist settings which worked a treat and was very much noticable.

It was leaving me speachless. All these years i thought they were needless extras and didnt impact much but after some use it has become apparent they can be match winning and improve general gameplay significantly. They impacted on my matches so much that i will always use them now. No1 can ever say the AI doesnt make runs because when you put the setting on they make runs all over the show...left, right and center and open the game up.

yeah not sure why people are bitching the passing, that's the only aspect of the game that's really impressed me!

what does everyone else think of the ball control? it seems at times it's like i'm watching a sunday league match with the ball pinging around, can't make up my mind whether i like it or not...
