Online rocks. I love it. Even if I play with people with a red connection. I've played a couple of matches, won two and lost one. I lost the first one cause I was so used to BAL mode (at least I think that, maybe that guy was just good). Anyway, the two games I won, I always have one player that is sent off from my team. Good omen? Fuck no, I think the ref just hates me. Everytime I come in and slide tackle (even if it's my first foul) he will show me the red card. That fucker. Anyone else noticed this?

I just played my last match, won 2-1, scored with Messi a 35-40 yard belter. Just beautiful. Anyone know if there is a way to save goals online or to find your past goals?

What teams do you guys usually use? What server do you guys play?

I'm usually busy during the day due to work from 9:00 - 8:00 EST time (I live in the States btw, but I didn't notice that much lag with European players, at least on my side), but I can play on weekends during the day, during the week late nights and early mornings, whatever.

Nice one, sounds good, I'm yet to try online, still got bad memories of 2008, laggy as hell! take it 2009's ok online then? Might have to give it a go tonight.

ive played 40 matches online and only 8-10 with minimal lag. Fifa played 30 matches with no sign of even the slightest tini tiny bit of lag. Not even a pixel of lag. Pes 2009 online is ok but when its bad its bad. I dont see why they find it so hard when even the smallest gaming companies these days can do online just fine. I mean ive played with 20 people on fifa with no lag yet on pes i can barely play 1v1. Then on fifa you have more online modes than you can shake you controler at. Pes lacks the online depth imo and legends is almost useless without a ranking system that actually means something.

They should just ask other compies wtf is wrong with their system cos its mind boggling how they cant even do the basic 1v1 well whereas you can get smooth unlaggy 10v10 in fifa. Im not slating pes in favour for fifa. Im just saying that its got nothng to do with football games, its all just konami's crapness in this area.

Must admit, I find it hard to understand why this cant be played without lag, its only a football pitch after all! When you think of games like Battlefield Bad Company, that have so much going on all around, on massive maps, then you get a simple game of football that cant be done right, am still considering buying Fifa, most people are saying that it's better than pro evo these days as well, I'll have to see how it plays online tonight.

I wonder what speeds people's connections are to the net. Mine has been at 6.5 mb for a couple of years now. Pes08 was unplayable online, while pes2009 is great most of the time.

Same here. I have comcast cable, and it works great. I sometimes noticed lag, but it's not as bad as people are describing it. And I have the excuse of playing with European players. Maybe you guys just have a bad connection/computer?
