just wanted to agree with you pal, i am a long time pes player, and i know and understand that each year the game is different to start with and takes time to adjust but pretty soon you can see that its an improvement from the previous years game... however this pes2014 is the worst or should i say biggest step backwards i have ever seen in a game from the previous years edition, pes2013 took a while to get use to but the control and player responce was spot on right from the off, but in this years game both these things are ridiculas and the slowness of the game itslef makes it such a chore to even be arsed completing 1 game, i could go on for a long time about how this years game is worse than pes2013 but tbh i dont think it will change anything, i just feel very disappointed in konami and i honestly feel ripped off by the £35 i paid for this years game.

Not quite. I'm on xbox and have played 11 games online. Only one game had dreadful input lag all the way through the match. A complete mess, everything your inputting is delayed and virtually unplayable. If that is what people are experiencing offline all the time then I feel for you. It looks like the PS3 boys are really being screwed, the PC may have a temp fix with the vsync.

Other than that online, I had some great lag free games. Yes there was some lag in terms of freezes for a second or two in some games, but only a couple in a few matches. Still needs improvement though. Offline is absolutely fine with no lag.

totaly same for me , but is anyone else haing my problem with my analogs suddenly turning off resulting in me haivng to turn computer off amd on. and thru this 1 joypad has already bitten the dust with me thinking my joypad was broke,

Huh? It did? I don't feel like imagining what it was before. I agree with the thread owner, i've been a die-hard fan since ISS...umm it has nothing to do with me being jap:bs:
At the point i'ld prefer an ISS to this, ummm is it true the game wasn't finished?

some parts of the game arn't finished, you can tell, but the overall game itself, is pretty good, they need to sort out TOP PLAYER though, it seems disjointed and they need to make superstar a little harder, I say harder, they need to make the CPU AI better, but apparently there is going to be a huge patch in november which will sort out alot of things... But once you play it on Superstar and get used to the buttons and get your support settings set to how you like it, the game plays really nicely and you can do some amazing things... But it definitely wasn't finished.

A: The players that don't have real faces do not resemble their real life counterparts at all, a lot of them just have the default face with a different skin color.

B: In edit mode, if you try dragging the top of the jaw inwards, the rest of the jaw doesn't go with it and pushes the bottom half out, even if the bottom half is set to -7, making your player look more like reck it ralph. So it makes it hard to create players with a real slim jawline, e.g. ratty looking players. You then have to squash the whole face and that can make it look weird.

c: Switching players can still be a problem.

d: The catch up bug on throughballs, but that seems to be at it's worse on top player.

e: When the game came out, it only had like 5 stadiums.

f: alot of features were taken out of the game, or simply not implemented back in before the release. ML for example is missing alot, not sure if they meant it or they thought it was for the best, but is still annoying.

g: Online is not working properly, lots of glitches.

h: Advanced through ball and shoot have a lot of problems and on the console versions you tend to turn them off.

But on a whole, when you set it up as well as you can, when you play a game, it plays really nice and I am really enjoying it now.

All what i can say is: Totally agree with you. I am also very disappointed very frustrated with this shit release.

We have always supported PES but enough is enough this version is simply unplayable, back to PES 2013 hoping for magic to rescue 2014 by new DLC.
