Anyone knows how to get your team going. I have played for ajax and barcelona, both teams who score a lot of goals, but as soon as i arrive the simple stop doing that. Suddenly they're only scoring half as much as everybody else!? Is this something you've experienced as well???

No actually i feel Valid is right. When we enter any club, they seem to be unable to score!! they mostly depend on us to score. and at higher difficulty, it isnt that easy. They do no pass the ball too well, and their midfielders pass the ball well. Bu this happens initially, after a season with them, they become marginally better

I find the longer you stay at a club the better they play. Your first season with a team they always play badly then play much better in your second season & keep getting better the longer you stay.

I'm afraid he's not a poor workman blaming his tools. It's a fact that the team you perform with, or against, will be generally poorer than when simulated without matches. This is not to say they will play poorly, but at least poorer.

Once I played at Barcelona. I think some of their guys were at the all-time ranking. I played with them, and mostly they have between 5.5–6.0 in average. Better players like Messi got 6.6–6.7.

Then I played at Fiorentina. Frey was top 5 GK, and Mutu top 5 FW. First season with them, both were at 5.0s.

Not saying I particularly struggled; by the 4th or 5th year your BAL can practically decimate opponents all by himself, but it's true that the CPU sucks.

The AI in this game is crap, it's the worst. Players become handicap as soon as you arrive. They do not cross the ball, the can't header the ball away, they can't defend, and when you get in to possision to cross the ball yourself they don't run in to the box, they simply can't do anything right. There's no football-thought behind the game, it's do it yourself mode. The worst experience of PES up to date. I'm buying fifa next season unless a major change is on the way.

100% Correct ! Its so funny makes me laugh sometimes. Every team I sign for performs like crap. Your team does not PRESS, does not PASS WELL, no BUILD UP play. I mean WTF?! I play for Real Madrid now with CR9, KAKA, Benzema, Alosno, Van der Vart and all other stars. In one of my recent games we were against Getafe FC. The full time match stats say for themselves:
Possession: RM 29% - Getafe 71%, Pass complete: RM 52 - Getafe 92 !!!!
Its always like I am THE ONLY ONE after the ball. The opposition`s crap defenders hold the ball in their third like piece of cake and nobody except me is arsed to pressurize them !!! WHY KONAMI, WHY????????
Also, WHY does my fuckin player RUN AWAY from loose balls?
Why do the wingers wait FOR AN AGE to cross the ball in the box where a frustrated ME is standing stranded?????
This could go on for a while. SORT OUT THE BAL KONAMI!!!

Thats so true and i also hate it . I have played for Barca and we just reached the 3rd place twice . Messi just shot 7 goals in this season .

Basically, you just have to improve yourself until the point where you can do everything yourself. I played more then 20 seasons of BAL and I have 5-6 players. All of the teams I played for is the same, no crosses, rubbish defending and poor passing. I'm just looking forward to Konami's promise of "completely new AI experience" come PES2011.

very true... especially when u begin a new career nd ure in team b. ur team performs real bad. they depend on u to change the game. The team A plays almost excellent football. then when impress nd u make it to team A, they start playing bad too. lol
