Name & Shame Online Players

I was playing online on Saturday and a chap called LARDY came into my game room and played against me. I chose Newcastle as usual and he of course (like most online noobs) chose Inter Milan.

1 During the team selection he moaned that I did not set the Player Condition to normal as he would have preferred. Poor old Lardy.

2 I went 1-0 up, he was pretty abusive as Luque (of all players) scored a sweet volley.

3 As Emre put in another to bring it to 2-0, LARDY told me to F*** Off and disconnected.

I really don't mind the abusiveness but to crash the game really wound me up. Why not just lose with a bit of humility?

I later checked on his player profile, he has 39 disconnects. I wonder why - he is a poorly skilled player and a sore loser. He really should stick to Fifa.

I think we should name and shame online players, and if you remember one the names of these losers, maybe we can avoid playing them.

On the whole the online community are pretty chilled - it is planks like Lardy that really get on my Mammory Glands.

Anyway .... Avoid Lardy!

It's fun when you have all the luck during a match, when your opponent misses open goals and then you score with Martins on read (for instance), getting past all the defenders. By the way, if Inter is a "noobish" team (whatever that means), then Newcastle is much more: at least Inter has enough quality IRL to be first in Serie A, but Newcastle is ridiculously overrated in the game.

Sorry, but i'm fed up with these "morality experts". Disconnects still counts as defeats, so there's really no point in this, except bragging about it.

IMO, the people who should be "named and shamed" are the emule & msn cheaters. People who have 2 bars or more against you and still, misteriosly, manage to lag the game.

newcastle are not overrated, the stats are accurate. in real life however, the team as a whole just plays crap....

Referred to as 'Brazil noobs' as i put in my profile. Every shot by adriano always gets spilled by the keeper which is impossible to defend.

I think they're isnt as many 'noob' players online as there was in PES5. Playin Barca a lot does get annoying.

If your good enough you should be able to win without them. Its just boring to play the same team every game. Thats why i only play competitions cause at least you will play a few different teams.

agreed, there's WAY too much whining about what teams are picked, if you are a good Pro player you should be able to win as the underdog, unless it's totally unfair like Reading/Watford vs Brazil for example

I play real games (not friendlies) with my mates. I lost like 6 times in a row this guy called mahdi (whos reading this I bet.. the noob ) Hes like caused over half my losses (i have 10, like 3 draws and 40ish wins) No need to get pissed off about it. no1 really cares.

Fair play, I said the word noob in my first posting, so what? Everyone since then has missed the point I was trying to make and got on their high horse to defend their rights why they should play as Inter Milan, Brazil etc...
All I wanted to do is highlight how many weasles there are online who can not take a defeat. Not start a war on noobs.

lol sorry tallon remember im always up for a rematch anytime so when you have practised enough let me know. anyway on the naming and shaming matter you guys should read the thread i started called 'The truth about GuglielmoMR and Gugliemo No1 the the extreme online cheat' this guy is way beyond naming and shaming its unbeleivable what lengths this guy goes to.

Yes, going back to the origional point - People who d/c are annoying, but at the end of the day you still get a win, you may not get points for the win, but its still a win that continues a winning stk or starts one and adds percentage. While we are on the point of d/c'ing, i dont like ppl who d/c while in the lobby of a competition, they see my profile, c ive got a few runners up medals, realise they are awful and quickly d/c to avoid playing me.

South Korea were my team of choice on PES5. I'm yet to venture on with PES6. The online PES5 lag issues really got to me so I didnt play that much.

I dont like it when ppl dc when they are losing but, i had to d/c yesterday in a competition. There was no lag in our game in general, but everytime i got near his goal, the game would freeze and then when it un-froze, my player was off the pitch. He was pulling his cable, then putting it back in. I scored a goal, against the lag and he went mental - then there was lag all the time. I found out that he had done it to loads of ppl and he was downloding during the half that he hosted - to make it unbearable. Apart from that one, i have not d/c'd

I think quite a few ppl have 2 or 3 accounts and play between them, with one of the accounts always winning. Also - is the points thing a bug, cause i played a person, beat him, i got say +17 points and his points went up like a fruit machine. I watched until he had got at least 1,000,000 extra points! That took about 20 seconds.

I don't find the lag too bad on PES6 and don't have many d/c's really.

wasnt online but I managed to beat france (human opponent) 3-0 using watford king scored a hat-trick for me.
