Need some help please

Hey guys,

I recently bought PES6 the PS2 version as I heard it would be compatible with the fat version of the PS3 which I have.

However I put the game in and it says its unsupported and wont play...

Is there anything I can download or do something that would make the game play on my PS3?

Oh and the reason I want to do this is because I prefer the older versions of the game, the game plays so much better than the newer versions unfortunately

I think this is only possible with a fat 60gb PS3, that has an option in game setting called PS/PS2 Upscaler. I have got it on mine and it's a fat 60 gb PS3.

Yes I was told only the 60gb PS3's supported PS2 games - I have no trouble playing old games on my 60gb console and didnt have to change anything.

Yeah im using that, its either 80g or 60g..most probs 60 but nothings happening , Do I need to change any setting on the ps3 or did yours just work when you put the game in?

Its in Game settings: It's called PS/PS2 Upscaler. Just turn it on, but i noticed a message on it saying something like this is only compatable with a HD/WDS TV.:w00t

:faceplm: You really don't know what upscaling means do you? I can understand your thought process but upscaling on the PS3 allows an SD picture to be viewed in HD. It has nothing to do with compatibility.
