guys

sorry if this has been posted

but the nets look the same as last year? is that going to be the case for all stadiums? i hate those nets, i wish they would go back to the square shaped ones not the saggy ones they have atm, and also , is it still going to have that stupid camera angle when facing a penalty?

thanks

They tried to make it more realistic, and they have done it...

But taste is taste, you like the old ones, and I like the new ones...

fair point. i think the way the ball hits the netting is brilliant in pes 08 (actually something i truly liked in the game).

maybe the more box type goal nets were better, i personally liked the old wembley's nets. where the player could stand inside the goal and look really small. with the long horizontal stanctions like they were in the united chelsea final where cantona scored them two pens i think.

maybe konami wanted that effect of the ball lifting the netting back so thats why they put more sagging nets in the game.

and as for the penalties, maybe a continuous cut scene from the award by the referee right through to the striker placing the ball and the keeper backing up to his line.

just to build up the pressure of it, instead of the pen being awarded and suddenly the players are in position and you just kick it.

i know players may get fed up with it after a bit but this could be skippable by pressing A or START.

Yeah pes 08 had that. I liked the way balls hit the net. I think it's more realistic than the others. Also the nets are perfectly fine in 08. I don't want a change. They look almost perfect in 08.

perfect idea, i would like more atmosphere and pressure on the pens and this would suit it fine!at the mo all we have is the same penalty awarded cut scene, and then walla your taking the penalty, oh and you can just go straight down the middle to ease any sort of pressure in a tight situation as the keeper ALWAYS dives. i didnt really mind the penalty camera angle, at the end of the day all you are doing is pressing a direction and the camera doesnt effect that, least they tried to mix it up!

penalties are always a letdown on PES imo, even worse with the camera angles now.

I much prefer FIFA shootouts, you can do chips, side foot placed shots and you can move your keeper along the line... PES needs that sort of freedom

You're completely right, the penalties are the only thing I like about FIFA09.
