Konami say while the November 24th data enhances a number of elements in the full game and also revises the club team rosters in line with those of all current transfers, all major transfers made after the game was completed will be rectified

What do we all reckon this means?

I am really hoping for the following:

1. Improved AI on Top Player level (especially in an attacking sense)
2. Improved Collision System
3. Improved Referees
4. Improved Movement (By this I mean actual fluid 360 degree control and not the clunky 16-32 way movement that we have been given

In my opinion Konami are either stupid or extremely lazy. Why oh why did they release this game when it feels so unfinished?

With the following addressed above this game would be amazing in my opinion. If this game had the fluidity of Fifa it would beat that game hands down and nobody can deny that.

The update is released tomorrow and I am looking forward to the possibility of these things being implemented.

Can the Mods on here reveal anything at all?

I most certainly can't but that's not a surprise. All I would suggest is that you don't expect too much. Wild expectations will only lead to disappointment which will mean any good work Konami have in fact done with this could end up being ignored by some people who expected a total overhaul of everything they don't like.

You are 100% right in what you are saying here Don. Do you know anything at all yourself on what might be getting a bit of pampering?

If the game was slowed down slightly, passing wise especially, and the AI became a bit more attacking and more of a challenge I will be well pleased

Do you know anything? Please tell?

DLC != patch.

I doubt Konami will patch the game - they may offer downloadable content but they won't fix any issues. I think they'll wait until PES2011 before fixing anything major. Wouldn't they announce a pending patch?

Well this is what Konami have said

"Konami say while the November 24th data enhances a number of elements in the full game"

Perhaps this is why they have taken so long to actually release this patch

I am not worried about the roster updates Shaun as I have applied Daymos and Cowsons excellent V1.5 OF for the Xbox 360.

I would really love it if this patch made the AI better, something similar to the attacking intent of the AI in PES 2009.

Do you think it is possible for them to update the game in this manner with a patch?

Referee improvement, collisions and full 360 degree movement would be a big bonus.

It just seems to me that this game is half way through development to what the PES 2011 game will be

Would be awesome if they fix the refs, slow the game down a lot, and make the game more difficult. Highly unlikely that will happen but one can always hope :)

Certainly don't hope they make the AI anything like pes 09. I think it sucked bigtime. Winning 6-0 against any team with even goteborg was extremely easy.

- Since i don't recall their DLC for pes 2008 and 2009 changed anything in the actual game apart from boots, kits, transfers i think it's highly unlikely this patch will change AI, refs or anything in particular..

referring to this issue, i have acutally been thinkin about this in the past few days. In the old days, when online gaming was a crazy idea and linking game consoles to internet was impossible, games were pretty much perfect. Well might not be "perfect perfect", but there would be less bugs and stuff at least, because game producers know if they get something wrong in their final draft, its sales would be terrible.
Nowadays, with game consoles can be connected to internet easily, updates can happen so often, thus game producers could kind of rush the game out in order to deal with the releasing date, and then after that they could actually start checking if the game is okay, or not.
So i have been thinking, obviously having online feature is definitely a big plus, but at the same time, it does actually have some cons as well.

I think it may happen, but not with this update. In time.

nothing much about the patch
just some teams added to the champions league selections
seems like yellow/red cards are hardly seen so far
