Seems to be the same.
I haven't seen a handball for a slide tackle yet - I think those are just fouls. Most handballs are happening for me when trying a clearance or a long pass.

henry, all non-licenced kits are indeed as they were in PES2 as default.
There are new options to make more accurate kits as needed. Most of them look good.

how to i transfer a player from country to club? i follow the guide that Zygalski made, but when you click on a blank space in a club, only club teams come up, and you cannot select any from national teams, any ideas?

Laut Angaben des World of Games Internetshops wird die PS2- bzw. PC-Version von Pro Evolution Soccer 3 bereits am 17. Oktober in unseren Gefilden seinen Release feiern dürfen! Bisher war die Fangemeinde von einem Release zwischen dem 23. - und 31. Oktober ausgegangen.

Ganz nebenbei überrascht ein weiterer Releasetermin - und zwar soll eine GameCube-Version von PES3 hierzulande im 4. Quartal diesen Jahres veröffentlich werden. Ob diese Meldung der Wahrheit entspricht ist anzuzweifeln, denn bisher war noch nichts über eine mögliche GCN-Version bekannt...

This was on PES3.de and as you can read they're expecting PES3 for the 17th of october, also they say PES3 will be on the cube. Can any1 say how likely this is? I mean PES3 isn't going to the Cube, is it?

According to statements of the world of Games Internetshops(?), the PS2 gets- and/or PC-version of Pro Evolution Soccer 3 on the 17 October in our Gefilden(?) Many people are celebrating this! Previously the PES community had a general idea of a release around 23rd - and 31 October.

Very incidentally a further Releasetermin (press release?) has sprung a few surprises - and states a GameCube version of PES3 should be published in this country sometime in the 4th quarter this year. Whether this is true or not is debatable since there has not been any news of a GCN related PES3 till now.

Hey im nu hear and i was wondering about the libero grande mode. Someone said earlier in this thread i think, that you can play as the goalie too and i was wondering if this is the case, whats it like to play as the goalie and how does it work? Is it like:

a) you move the goalie round and to the ball then the computer does the work and dives for u

or

b) you move the goalie and do all the work urself and hav to dive for the ball in the right direction??

Id love it if it wer the second case because it would b more fun that way and a real larf if u had a friend as the player.

I know this text coz I´m mod on the pes3.de forum :D, the first paragraph refers to the release date which could be actually the 17th of October, but the source is not official, it´s an info from the internet-shop "World of Games", they have an official release date 17.10. I want to add that different shops from Germany and Switzerland are giving different release dates from 17.10 till mid/end November. Some of them even have different covers of PES3, although it´s always the German version, so I don´t think the source is very reliable.

The second paragraph is about an PES3 release for the GC, it´s set for October/November 2003, also a very unreliable source, this is not in the text but I know that this also wasn´t an official announcment, this info was published by an Internet game-shop.

There are no other official covers, that´s why I think the source is unreliable, they even don´t have the original cover, they don´t have Collina, they have the German Cup on it, looks really ugly. I cannot give you the link coz you have to be registered to watch our forum so a link would be useless but if you want you can visit us, feel free, there is a cover thread in the PES section.

I have a feeling that its definately going to have a similar style trend to PES1 and PES2, with a blurred image of a player or shirt.

I really like the first cover. clean, nice, and very stylish.
The Colina cover is cool, but I really don't want him on my cover, I don't think I'll take it out at night. :(
