New technique to change gameplay entirely

Hello all

I'm a member of this forum for 8 years... and I've played all WE and PES game from PSX days to current generation..

My only camera that I've played is WIDE in every case ( with camera tilting if avaliable) ..
For last two days I'm trying other camera options.. and you can't belive how the gameplay differs in " NORMAL -Medium camera"..

The main difference is RESPONSE times.. the player on-screen reduces according to the angle so the response times changes dramatically .. just like 1.5 times better than the wide view..

Advatages:
1- dribbling is a lot more accurate
2- Tricks can be apllied easier and more effective
3- Defence system changes.. You can tackle the opponent a lot more easier..
4- Camera movements are great especially in long & loft balls.. camera zooms in an out automatically which is great.
5- When you approach to the GOAL. Camera has a tilting automatically ( it s like degree 4 of 1-9)
6- PLayer faces are seen and realism gets higher.. Uniquiness differ

Disadvantages:

1- Vision : you have to know how to play simulation PES and you MUST use radar in some cases.. I play with right analog stick for 80% of a match.. thats why I'm accustomed to use radar so much.. but you can have some little problems if you dont use it much..

Try to make a match ( if possible 15-20 minutes ) in NORMAL-Medium View.. you'll get what I mean..

I'm using Broadcast 1 and its a thousand times better than WIDE as far as realism, gameplay feels chrispier than ever, also response time is a lot better, so you get my vote mate.

I totally agree. I recently changed to Broadcasting 1 and the gameplay is much better.

Dont know if the AI are better or not but they appear to be? It might be the fact that I have changed all the teams in the Assisted Settings to play More Attacking.

One question. If I change the teams to attack more does it apply to the Master Leage as well?

Yes mate it will but u will need to start a new master league after making the changes to the teams for it to take effect. Game is much better, well for me anyway

But please keep that in mind you have to pay attention while playing with Zoomed cameras (medium or Broadcast). Cuz when you lose your positions.. a team with good players never forgives.. :) As I said you have to use radar as much as possible for positioning your players..

For Attacking system..
I'm not too bothered with deffault of teams cuz I play 25min games for my master league career.. I play most of the games in a season. so I make 1 or 2 matches per day .. In 25 min games .. If computer attack a lot results go highher than normal.. but with defaults it keeps the balance..

But As I mentioned if you play 10-15 min games.. you have to revise AI of opponent a little....

I play the game HD on 720p settings with the broadcast camera, i have been waiting years to play a next gen pes game that feels like the ps2 version and these settings make a big difference. Manual passing is also more enjoyable when using this camera as it just feels more real. I am finally enjoying pes again after two years of fifa.

Yes, I always play with Broadcasting 1 or Normal-Intermediate.

I have noticed that with the other cameras the game is faster and different.

Also try to play 15 minute games, those games have a lot of opportunities on both goals.

Yeah man, wide camera sucks. I always assumed it was in there for people playing be a legend as this is the only mode where wide makes any sense.

I use normal medium and it's the best angle imo. Broadcast 1 is good also as is zoom if you wanna really get up close and personal

Im playing 15 minute games at the moment and the game seems to flow more realistically, i also did this with fifa 10 and it made the game more realistic. It feels like pes ps2 with better graphics and response times, it also makes the game more of a challenge as positioning comes into play.

Even on broadcast and normal intermediate the gameplay is still horrible for me. This is what I used to use on the PS2 versions too, so the bench mark is pretty high. Camera tilt BETTER be back for 2011
