What do you expect from the PS2. As far as graphics is concerned, Konami cant really make them any better because the PS2 isn't powerful enough. You just have to accept that or buy an XBOX version if it is released.

edit - also just noticed that the fans wear scarves of their team's colour in winter. You can see the Danish fans are wearing red scarves and the swedes have yellow.

A beta/ at only a month away/ hmmm. somehow i doubt that. unless..well who knows. All I can say is that konami's keeping to mum on this game. Everybody and their grandmother is pre-ordering it in japan and overseas and i can't believe they haven't even stopped to see IF the game will be MUCH differant? I'd love to get it, but it'd constitute me getting a sap magic and slidecard at about $40 and about 470 for the game itself shipped. That's like $110 dollars! Without vids I will not start even my pre-order.

I hope the Xbox version isn't just a straight port of the PS2 a la GTA3/Vice City. I don't mind waiting a couple of months extra for the lean green version, I can tide myself over with the PS2 till then.

Well strangely enough, On Evo Web, they posted these pics, and it was from CVG website, but they claimed it was from PES4 and not we8, somehow i doubt that, but can you guys see anything that suggests it may be from pes4? too early for pes4 screens surely?

also according to gamespot, they are pes4 screens....

I think it is we8 screenies. Because on gamepst, the screenies of we7 and pes3 were exactly the same

Hmm, guess so, i'm sure both are gonna look the same, or virtually identical, i hope nokami dont go fckn around with things though and end up changing things for the worst for pes4....

I think they're PES4 screens. Think... WE7 screens at this time last year, a month before it came out, the graphics were 10x better than this...Its definetly PES4. If thats WE8 then the graphics are certainly dodgy for it being released in a months time.

Hehehe, it's the screenshots that just came out a month away from the release. This version could've been pressed and sent out to press a month a go now they're just getting it now, and puttin up reviews & taking screens.

Yeah over on Soccergaming they claim they are PES4 screenshots and they also have a press release from Konami on PES4 to go with it. So maybe they are for PES4.

I'm loving the fact some players have gloves now btw! :D

is it me or do the crowd look like zombies...i think konami needs to do some work on the actual crowd to make them look a tad more realistic than just cardboard cut-outs.

Fantastic! And finally a stadium I've been to - Råsunda. Been there at a few IF Elfsborg games, including swedish cup final last year. Looks great. Too bad I'm not getting WE8 though. :(

Hmm, got me thinking now, cos everywhere i've seen these pics, they states they are for PES4, so maybe they are...still though, they arent bad at all on further reflection. Let's face it, they'll never be as good as Fifa graphics, but i dont care, i am hoping this means they have spent more time tweaking thr gameplay and ironing out bugs.

you can get bigger versions of these pics at ps2.ign.com . they also say they are for Pro EVo 4. but i think its basically the same thing. remeber there wasnt any difference in the graphics between WE7 and Pro Evo 3
