Newcomer cheats?

I've played about 9 seasons of master league now. My eyes are bloodshot and I am running on a headache spree. For the past 4 seasons I've been waiting for Schwarz to show up in the newcomer list.

If he doesn't show up in the next year my current team will beyond their peak by the time Schwarz (assuming I ever get him) hits his peak. Meaning: they'll all be old farts and I'll have to rebuild my team.

I'm sure many of you have been asked this and everyone says that newcomers are simply random. Is there any way to maximize the chances of getting him? Even editing any bin files or something?

I simply want to acquire him so that I can be satisfied and go study for my semester exams

He is. The only place I saw him was in the team you play against in your first BAL scout match.

^^ i meant he isn't in master league .. he's not exactly scoring any goals for me from there ..
p.s there are other players like duffy in d scout match who were in previous games but not in pro 9

Since newcomer appearance in ML is random, there's no way to confirm without either getting into the game code and tracking down the newcomer array, or getting the word from someone in the know at Konami.

i know, this is really starting to get on my nerves. i havent seen palmieri, shimizu or schwarz. come on pes2009 wtf? after 11 seasons?

i think i had seen shimizu in my first master league career .appeared pretty early , didnt buy him but he did have super stats . hasn't appeared in my current career tho . and not sure bout palmieri

palmieri, shimizu are def in Pro Evo 2009. Palmieri is in my team, and I've been pursuing shimizu for seasons now!

Totally agree!Palmieri was my fave defender in PES5.Ive played 12 seasons in ML on PS3 and not come across either player or my fave side back Kjuna.Think were gonna have to get over it!Why arent they there though,they are classic players and surely shouldnt be dropped

dont know but i've given up on palmieri and schwarz. in my 11th season as well.

i was hoping to make an awesome striker combination of schwarz and aguero with bos, palmieri, bianchi and jean at the back.

have everyone but palmieri and schwarz. guess i'll just have to live with benzema unless someone uploads a file with schwarz.

I play on the PC. But is this true? Do you get more newcomers if you win more titles the previous year. I still have yet to win the Champions League. Maybe thats the key. Thanks for the suggestion zizou.

I don't know whether you get more newcomers by winning some trophies. I'm just guessing since it's strange that some newcomers haven't appeared in your ML so far (after many seasons).

I play on PS2 and the newcomers don't need to be unlocked. They all appear along the seasons randomly.

Anyway, the system for unlocking on PS2 is by gaining points. Then you go to PES shop and "buy" the items you want to unlock such as players, stadiums, effects. To be honest I think this method is better than what there is now in the next-gen consoles.

i definitely agree. it's much better than the method in next-gen consoles. well, i'll give the last season one more try. I've never won the treble, so I'll win it and play till next year's negotiations. Let's see who pops up.
