this should silence all the ps3 and xbox 360 wars going on. the games are going to be identical.

no blacks screens after fouls seems interesting, should make the game feel real. although im not to sure with how konami has chosen the dive system.

I will be very suprised if the PC version is the same as the Next Gen console versions. This is because most PCs wud not be able to run the game, so Konami would be shooting themselves in the foot.

As for the ongoing debate as to whether the X Box 360 version and the PS3 version will be the same, no one will know until it comes out. The presentation of the 360 version last year was lert down by the exceptionally poor features of the game, but Konami has guarenteed that the two games will have the same features. The temptation will be for Konami to make the game bigger than the X Box 360 disk can handle and therefore will have to cut stuff out to fit it on the DVD Disk for that version.

It has been written that GTA 4 will be smaller on the 360, as they couldnt fit all the details onto the disk. Whether this is true again remains to be seen. The difference will only occur if Konami design the game for Blu Ray as opposed to for DVD

Are you Mr Wrong, Mayor of Wrongville on the Planet Wrong? ;)

Firstly, it has been confirmed that the PC, 360 and PS3 versions will be identical in everyway including content. Nothing exclusive, nothing left out, nothing 'toned down'.
Next-gen PES isn't a particularly demanding game for the consoles and given the scalable nature of PC's, even those a couple of years old will be able to cope with no problem even if it means turning off certain graphical features. The game is actually being made for PC and then ported and customised to the consoles so that kinda blows that idea out of the water.

Secondly, I don't know why you think Konami would be 'tempted' to make the content too large for a DVD9. That really would be 'shooting themselves in the foot' as you put it. I have already gone into great detail about how it would take an insane amount of content for PES to ever go beyond the capacity of a DVD9 disc elsewhere in this forum. There have been and will be games of a much greater magnitude available for the 360 and they can fit on a DVD9. GTAIV will be one of them, with the usual rumours of capacity issues coincidentally eminating from the type of people who love Sony more then their own mothers. Hardly the most reliable of sources.

As i said it will be a case of wait and see. Content was never the issue here, i am talking more so about the way the game runs and plays. I own PES6 on PS2, PSP and PC so have a pretty good overview of the differences. The same for PES5, while owning PES 3 and 4 on both PC and PS2. I still stand by the motion that most PC's would not be able to run Pro Evo the same speed as a Next Gen console. That will remain to be seen as i will no doubt purchase it for both again.

Again, all i am going on is the difference in current games available for 360 and PS3. Games like Spiderman show more going on in the background on PS3 than on 360, and intial comparison screens show things such as bushier trees and more detail on background than on the 360 Version.

To be honest, it makes no difference to me, as i will own both PS3 and PC copies of the game (n Probs PSP) and will honestly probably never play the X Box 360 version. It will just be interesting to see if the three titles have any level of graphic differences or gameplay problems

There is no case of wait and see. It is confirmed that they will all be identical. There will be incidental graphical differences as you mentioned but those are due to the seperate hardware, not the game code itself.
