Now we all know that most people only play with Chelsea, Arsenal, Real, AC, Inter, or Brazil.....

.... but have any of you had any really good games against someone where you BOTH didn't use one of those teams.

I drew 1-1 against a guy who picked Newcastle and I chose Spurs. I was a breath of fresh air not to have the same old players busting the net from 35 yards out.

One problem for me is that online you get the default badges and names so half the time I don't know who I'm selecting!!

Yeah, I dont see why the club names are not updated, not that hard to do surely? It has got to be a licencing thing I guess...

Im sure if u edit the data prior ie change names etc or even get an option file you can see the real names and maybe even the correct badges.

When playing online you only use the default option file so editing will not work unless you patch your game.

I did not use the "top" teams online for PES4 after a while. When I get PES5 online, I'll play you peeps with the likes of Wigan, Spurs and Newcastle too.

Most of the time, I let the opponent chose the team and I select a team of the same country and/or with about the same level.

I have taken a 5/1 (which is my worse loss) vs someone who took Olympiakos. So I guess if you're good you don't need the top teams.
