I was just browsing the net to find some other sites to preorder my WE8 (besides play-asia, which I always use), just to compare prices, and found out this statement:

"Needless to say. If you are a football lover, you will not miss the Winning Eleven Series. Version 8 is supposed not to release in final evolution. It is confirmed by Konami. Take this chance to pre-order one."

Probably a bullsh..t, but who knows. Nothing surprises me anymore, especially not from Konami!


Can anyone confirm this???

yeah, that would be messed. btw, i may be blind, but will WE8 support multiple languages like WE7I-J? or do we have to wait another year for WE8I-J?

I strongly doubt it that KONAMI will make another "Final Evolution serie" they will rather make WE8I-J/USA/KOREA/SAUDI-ARABIA/LIBYA and shit lol ..

But don't forget, that WE7 was on CD medium, so it's obvious that you have only one (japan) language simply because of space. WE7-I was released on DVD as well as WE8 to be.

They said the same last year and bought WE7:Int out. So they'll probably do the same again.

I dont expect multiple languages in WE8 though. There's been no news of it anywhere, plus they'd lose quite a few sales of PES4 if they bring out WE8 with an English language option.

They also said that there won´t be a FE for WE7, and there was, not called Final Evo but International though :cool:

it would be sad to see the Final Evoluition or International get phased out....

it normally serves as a chance for konami to improve the gameplay e.t.c. on the current version before the new WE9 or watever comes out.....

Good job, that was my whole point.

I also assume that they will have Int. version out in february 2005. Which is tupid. I hate when we have 4 versions of pretty much the same game throughout the year.

How about PES4 FE :) it would be great that once Konami makes PES better than WE :)
