I am one of those who try my best only against Division 1 guys, but lately I am giving no mercy to the lower ranks players. This is because last month I lost a game 2-0 to this newb who knew I was going to attack and had a 9-0-1 formation. He held the ball for the entire game and basically his "monkey in the middle" worked as I wasn't prepare for his action. So now a days, I don't give a fu*k and kick all lower ranks ass so badly they will either pause at the end of the game and go afk.

The bottom line is, anyone who plays me now a days is not going to get their full money back guarantee.

Same problem I have.
I usually try to be as polite to lower divisions as possible, but sometimes you get the biggest bastards in that divisions.

The trick with only defenders happened to me too as well once, I scored though in second half and he quit lol.:lol:

But sometimes they hack you down badly, chat spam you, watch replays etc.

I really don;t know what to do.:shocking:

It happens to me sometimes too, but only when I'm leading. So I just lay back and see the dude pass the ball around. It's fun.

I love to play a possession game a lot, although it's no fun for the opponent. I only do it against assholes. For instance there was this asshole I played against, and we agreed on no barca/real, so he chose real. I dominated him the whole game and scored first, and then kept possession as much as possible. Poor guy only had one shot at goal.

without doubt - i average about 525 MLO ranking - the games i hate the most, where my players are unresponsive, slow and technically slurred are almost always against the lowest ranked players, you know the ones with 18% win. They get super team boost and the game is SOOO against me its unreal!

What MLO needs is a new system of ranking teams within each week.

I proposed this last year.....

only promote/relegate one division per week.

Ranking points should be removed. A new system should decide promotion/relgation.

The new system would be similar to that of a tournament ranking. Only over the week it would take your best 10 match streak. 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw ect.. Points then goal diff. then goals scored.

top 15% get promoted - bottom 15% suffer relegation.

Quick match replaced with 'Divisional match' matchmaking only against opponents in your division.

Any tournament that offers is not divisional would not be included in your best 10 match week streak.

Yeh I came across a div 5 team,who lagged the game whenever I had the ball.making it really frustrating and hard to play, he then scored and put everyone behind the ball, and continued to lag the game each time I had the ball. Lame players...

I play my usual game regardless who the opposition is. Why try to play like your opposition when you can play how you're most comfortable, that way you're more likely to win games.

Win or lose, you've played the right way. Those people who play with 9 in defence, which has been mentioned, are pathetic.

There are definitely more bastards in D1 than D5. If you disagree just because you lost to lower ranked teams a couple of times, think about the number of times D1 players cheated on you.

Can you honestly say there are more bastards in lower divisions than higher? If yes, we are definitely not playing the same game.

I just started an MLO campaign a few days ago, so my team's pretty bad (and my skill's even worse lol).

Matchmaking gives me Div 1 guys a lot (60% of the time, but feels like more), and not one of them has deserved 'fair play' vote.

Tactics like - standing still with back 4 n playing keep ball when I close down, not even trying to attack, just being a dick. Trying to dribble upfield with keeper because he's 4 goals up.

All this of course, after they rape Stremer + co. with their front 5 speed merchants. Yes, Pato and Messi can run rings around Cotswald, but do u have to go out of your way and show me ever time, in such a degrading manner. No, you're just being a twat.

I don't deliberately foul, and when I get the ball I try to do the best I can with what I have, and create any scoring chances. But every game against a Div1 opponent turns into a farce, as attempt to show that their team is superior by being as big a dick as they possibly can.

I don't get this with Div4 + 5 players, even if my opponents skill far exceeds mine.

I completely agree the majority of nobheads are in division 1. This is because the people that cheat, quit when their losing, play keep ball with their defense, have 6 speed merchants upfront are only playing to win. Winning is all that matters to them so thats why they are nearly all division 1 players.

When i play lower ranked people I always drop the big boys (that doesn't mean speed merchants as i have NONE) just because its pointless otherwise. I try to remember back to when I had Jaric and co and come up against a bell end running around with Pato, just takes all the fun away.

I never ever do this, not even in the 89th minute. I find you should always give your opponent a chance to beat you in the last minute. Sure, its a bitter pill if you concede a goal in stoppage time, but that's the game. I play a dominating attack strategy. When I have the ball, I want to build up an attack asap. I really hate players who lead 1-0 and inmediatly start to pass arround the ball from CB, LB, CB, RB, RM, RB,CB, LB and then FINALLY start moving forward. And they always think they play a dominating game, because they have a lot of possesion. They actually concider themselfes great players because they pass the ball unpressured from one defender to the next. Who are they kidding..

TBH. when a team is winning a game in real life, they just pass the ball around in the last minute - especially in crucial games

they TRY to pass it arround in the last minutes, but when the opponent presses very hard in real life it's almost impossible to gain control of the ball, even for Barca!. In pes, you can pass the ball arround in defence for 90 minutes, no way the other player is able to get it. Also, when I player does this in the last 3 minutes, I can understand it somewhat (though I still find it extremely weak). Some players though, are delaying the game as soon as they lead. Passing the ball in defence CB-LB-CB-RB-CB before they pass it in midfield every time they have a goal kick, so they win a few minutes per goal kick. Sure, they play like that in real life, but again: in real life you can actually pressure real hard, unlike in pes.

Man City played by countering and fast play. In terms of possession, arsenal owned them eventhough Man City won. Anyway, in PES, if you lose the ball whilst playing keep ball, they score after any chance which is not what heppens in real life
