A genuine question first, how often have you seen penalties been won in your season? Not only penalties won but also penalties given away.
I've played around 10 exhibition matches, finished TWO SEASONS in Become A Legend mode, and I have not seen a single penalty kick till now. Initially I thought that because of PES 2009's criticism, the penalties are rare but what??? Not a single penalty??
I was still fine and didn't pay much attention since I was enjoying BAL.
But this came as an eye opener to me...

There was no penalty given for the above incident. I was like...WTF..and so I started noticing many such tackles in the box where it is a penalty for sure..horrible..
Well, after seeing this I guess there aren't going to be any penalties in the match. This is unforgivable man...pathetic..
I mean I've ignored every issue till now since PES 2008 but this is completely rubbish for me..

I gave a penalty away just today. Now as yet I havent actually been given a penalty. Perhaps thats the problem!

Ive said in another thread how the game gets away with horrific tackles with no fouls given, not just penalties. I have after a season finally been given a penalty, and i skyed it lol.

But yeah its possible to get em, although theyre as rare as a monkey riding a rhino in cowboy boots, waving a ten gallon hat in the air shouting yahoo!

I have found that the Refs over look most bad tackles the computer does but punishes every little thing i do! The amount of times i have been hacked out by the computer is a joke, i do excatly the same thing and more often than not i got a yellow/red card, really starting to fuck me off now lol

I have won the Champions league twice and played quite a few exhibition matches with mates and havnt won a single pen yet, pretty un-realistic tbh.

Yeah i both disslike and like the refs in pes 2010. In general the games are more fluent now - not giving free kicks for small touches in the middle of the pitch. More hard body tackles allowed. Like it. However i've never been given a single penalty myself either, having played 1½ season in ml. I've been brought down several times but no whistle. My only complain regarding the refs this year.

In over 60 matches so far ive not seen a single penalty offline. I like the refs when they let play go on even when its a bad challenge but when its a penalty descision then it pisses me off. Once i was in a 1 on 1 and the guy completely brought me down from behind and at his closest point was 1m away from the ball. I wouldnt mind this if konami came out and said refs are more contravercial this year but if they're just poorly programmed then its pretty lame tbh.

I have also noticed the horrible penalty or no penalty decisions as the case my be, online i have had about 704 fouls in the area and nothing given.....

I noticed it when i was in the box, got slid from behind and went down, the ball rolled out for a goalkick... This situation is impossible, if its a goalkick then he got no ball and its a foul, if he got the ball its a corner.

Anyway, it's pretty exploitable online. You can make some pretty ridiculous tackles and get away with it ;)

Yh, swings boths ways really. Its like in real life when they say over the course of the season things will even themselves out.

ive had 2 penaltys 1 in a freindly david villa scored and 1 in Ml where rooney missed and gave 1 away against arsenal

i have hacked and been hacked inside the box online and offline in 2player mode...

i dont play a season. i am playing 1 game to win. i dont need refs not blowing up.

id accept that sometimes it gives a red or sometimes a yellow that could be inconsistent i.e was it the last man in a goal scoring opportunity...

but when i go clean through, or thereabouts and i get slid and decked with no ball contact from the opposition, its a pentalty.

i want my penalty!
