Oh my god why is no one talking about BAL in 2010??

Thought i would give it a few more goes and more and more frustrations, The wingers never seem to cross first time, they stop and turn and by the time that happens the defender takes the ball easily off him. 4 times in one match it happened.

I get the ball crossed to me and i press to shoot straight away but for some dodgy reason my player decides to take a touch (a bad one at that) and guess what defenders closed it down by time it eventually shoots.

Van Persie ran through my team from the left and cut inside and none of my defenders seem interested to even close him down. When any of my player have the ball they are always quickly closed down, main reason is i don't think they know how to sprint just jog. I really like the idea of this mode but the AI is not good enough on the team you are to enjoy. I am seriously thinking of trying an easier mode just to see if i can enjoy it better.

im playing in regular mode and im doing just fine.. dont wanna go for harder modes cuz shitty stats+improved enemies AI+shitty AI on my team = crap i still belive catania shouldnt had won serie A tho lol

Have to say this is my first go on BAL mode and also my first go at PES on PC. I really like it to be fair. It does seem slow when playing but I think that gives it more of a simulation feel than a FIFA type arcade.

Started playin Pro Evo on playstation years ago and decided then, this and FIFA are like the marmite debate - your one or the other!

I totally agree with what you say. At first I thought it was better but I'm in my 3rd season now and I must conclude that it is worst than in 09 :realmad:.

The defense is totally crap. All they do is walk back when the opposite attacks. What's that all about?
Even more lofted passes everywhere on the pitch and 9 out of 10 means loss of possession. Stupid crosses form left to right and vice versa also means loss of possession.
Stupid high passes from the halfway opposites half that always ends up in the keepers hand. :realmad:
I'm in my 1st season at Barca and when you think we would dominate most of the games then you're wrong because most matches are dominated by the other team form Atletico to Zaragoza :realmad:
CL and EL are nice additions though but my fun is not as much as in 09.:no:

guess for EPL it is Aston Villa the first club to play amongst the better. i've been played there too. and now in 3rd season for liverpool won EPL+FA cup 2 in a row, CL recently, but something is missing..

yep.. the gameplay overall is better in 2009, it was more addictive. though now seem more realistic by not seeing development curves and other players' wages/values except in new transfer window, i still feel we need to update to be able to search and see other players detail - not for the wages. to see other club's player o.a rating and nationality for example is something we need to expect :ninja:

Agreed, i want to be able to check out other players stats before games. Its also useful to check out when teams who make offers for you the formation they play, as i prefer playing with another CF. At Toulouse i'm the sole striker which can be frustrating as i have to come back to get the ball and get play moving!

Not being able to change the teams in your chosen league killed it for me this year. I'm simply not playing against un-edited English teams when I'd far rather adjust it like in the ML, so the English league is populated with the very best teams from all 3 big leagues.
