When Totti hit the post and it rolled across and hit the other one I knew the game was up if it went to pens. I never won a single penalty shootout last night out of 8 attempts. Last week I was a penalty god and now I'm a penalty turd. Marvellous.

God I forgot about that shot, I have NEVER seen that before. And it rolled from one post to the over so SLOWLY, I was sure it was going to spin over the line.

You should have seen my celebration when Joe Cole notched. My wife was in the kitchen and asked me if I do that everytime I score!

I am always up for a rematch, hopefully I will have more time when we next meet.

Oh and one other thing, I played some chap last night who is ranked about 30th... It was 1 - 1 and in stoppage time. Rooney danced into his penalty area and he hacked me down. With time almost out Beckham steps up and slams the penalty against the f'ing crossbar.

He beat me 4-1 after extra time!!!!

Love it.

Thanks for the games familymahone, enjoyed it. I got stuffed in the first game as England and was given a dodgy penalty in the second game and you were all over me so you really should have won that one too. We are an hour ahead over here too which explains my having to go to bed (it's 01:13 here now).

Your shot with Ballack was quite superb, I have never seen anyone hit a shot that hard before on PES5 so I was well impressed. Mine with Lampard was too shabby either though......

Sleep can get in the way sometimes. i am often playing till 02.30 in the morning... sneaking into bed (still wide awake) and then having to get up at 05.30-06.00 with my little girl. i am like death at work later in the day!

It wasn't so much that it was dodgy but rather a stupid tackle by me in the box, I didn't need to do it but sometimes I just can't resist the slide in. The Bayern-Chelsea game was good as well but unfortunately Munich fell apart in the last 10 minutes and I was lucky to get away with just a 2-1 defeat.

I did have a funny game against someone else last night too. I was Wigan and he was Ajax and he was giving me loads of shit before and during match. Anyway, he lost the head when my goalkeeper knocked in a penalty to make it 3-0 at the start of the 2nd half and disconnected immediately. That'll teach him ha ha.

Some cheeky bastard cheated me last night. Played him and he had a record like won 30 lost 8. Saw a chance for some big points. He took an age to sort his formation and stuff out before the game. We went to the kick off screen and the timer counted down to 0, and he just stood there. I pressed some buttons - nothing.

After 30 seconds I thoughht that maybe this is how he wins his games. He gets a match, doesnt kick off andf waits for the opponent to disconnect. not me though buddy, I can sit it out with the best of them - I have 2 kids afterall - it makes a man you see.

So I went and got a drink, came back and still not kicked off. Afetr about 5 miutes the game flashed up that it has been diconnected. Justice - BACKDOOR wins. auto 3-0 to me.

BUT NO..... Checked the game record and it says I disconnected and that he won the game 3-0. WHAT THE F'K? i was fucking livid. I have blocked him but am really pissed off that I have a disconnect on my stats and a defeat. Anyone else heard of this sort of thing?

The only thing that stopped me destroying the house was thrashing familymahone in the Scandanavian Clash of The Titans ;)

BTW - when do the "Old Boys" get online? I've been playing against Red in some tight games. I suspect he'll be watching Champs League tonight. As a Spurs fan Calais Xmas shopping is as close as we get 2 Europe!

Is anyone else due to get online??

familymahone. Sorry I left so quickly last night, it's just that my missus shouted out that our sons milk was finished and that she, and I quote, "cannot be arsed to get out of bed and warm some more and you can put that controller down and do it".

And as I am the Lord of my manor......I did exactly as she said. And then went to bed.

Sorry I didn't reply Mumpleaser (BTW I understand yr name now - seeing as you do whatever the little lady wants! ;))
