Ok just a rant unless theres a patch out there what fixes this? no idea.

anyhoo, how stupid and unrealistic is the master league mode!!!

I want to be the manager not the player so i dont play any of the games just manage them ie; subs,tactics etc etc... here is the history of my career.

1st season - default players and have Bojan and Evans from man u, drew and lost alot. bought kaiser. (finished 8th)
2nd season - default players and bought Hitselsperger or whatever his name is on the left wing. (finished 7th)
3rd season - default players and bought the reborn Maldini, Nedved and Thuram (promoted finished 2nd)
4th season - default players and bought reborn van der sar and Freidal, lost ALOT and won around 4 games with the rest being draws (finished 15th)
5th season - default players and bought the reborn Figo, Giggs, Campbell. lost alot and drew LOADS! only won 3 games all season (finished 13th)
6th season - default players and didnt buy any. results same as previous season, drawing alot and only winning a handful of games (finished 15th again)
7th season - only 15 games into this season and already iv only won 2 games, drew 8, lost 5 (currently 11th)

My formation is 4-4-2, with the midfield being split into a diamond shape.
I understand that half of the squad are reborn legends and there only aged between 17-20 years old so there not there best yet but looking at there stats i should be winning alot more! im getting really sick to the back teeth now of drawing and loosing. With the exeption of El Moubarki and Gutirezze that team should be world beaters!! and im loosing to the likes of hull city!!!!!! i mean its not even funny anymore lol its weird how it works, its like the computer cranks the difficulty level up when your winning a team the game thinks you shoudnt be.

for example..... we was winning man utd 1-0, then they equalized 1-1. 85minutes and we score 2-1. in stoppage time they were running circles around my players and ended up scoring with seconds to go making it 2-2 wen we was outplaying them most of the game! ok ok, i know this 1 match could be a coinsidence but this happens every game! in the league, in the cup. I was once winning everton 3-0 at 60minutes in the cup for them to come back and win 4-3!!!!!

thats BS! in my opinion.

It's a good idea, I think, what you're doing, but at the same time I don't think it's fair to get excited about it if it doesn't work as you'd expect. Why? Because that's not what the game was programmed for. To me... It's like saying that Mario Bros doesn't work if you play it with your eyes closed.

Thats just "fudbal", what do you expect from a football video game orientated for the person to play the computer. It would be a different story if this was happening in Football Manager a management focused game

If you havent all ready, just try changing your tactics about a bit during the game. Wait until you go 3-0 up for instance and when they start applying pressure just completely change it about. Remember, the computer also changes its tactics when its getting beat.

reborn players end up being better than the original so stick by them just now for the time being id say it will pay off in the end but as they say "you cant win everything" u just need a better team dude and a little more patience, good things come to those who wait u kno ;)

Scott,

I think you should think about changing your formation. You have only one defense midfielder and he's a CMF! No surprise you loose so many games.

Looking at your players, we can see that they are not fast (they are reborn, right?). And you have one strong CF (Gutierez) and another weak but fast (Bojan). Try to set up your team in a way to take advantage of that.

My suggestions:

1) put Thuram on the right side (it's his pref. side)
2) change the hole of Nedved to CMF. Adjust him to be the one who goes more to attack (his shot is unbelievable good, even when young).
3) change the hole of Kaiser to DM or keep him as CMF, but set him up to stay more in defense.
4) the SMF who is on the same side of Bojan, can be more behind since you will have the support of Nedved as well. Kaiser will cover the left side when Giggs is attacking.
5) review your defense arrows
6) create two more strategies (one more for defense and another more for attack) then you can change during the games.
7) keep going!! :)

The fact you have such a young team could be the problem. I've got the re-born Rivaldo and he's 19 and pretty useless at the min. He's slow and incredibly weak :(

If you wait another 2 or 3 years all your re-born players should improve dramatically!

That's prolific! Does his energy get any better by the time he's 21? If I play him in one match he usually ends up with only 1/3 energy for the next match :(

Come to think of it, I'm not quite sure why I play him, at the minute he's actually pretty useless overall!! :no: I'm confident he's gonna come good though... eventually!
