Play Station Store Login Problem, Help !!!

Hi Everyone.

I have a problem since new patch. I downloaded it, but when I want to play on-line, it says new data pack vailable, download it. I downloaded it. When I try to play on-line now, it says that playing on-line requieres on-line pass code.

When I click "Register On-Line Pass Code" it quits the game and says "this service is not available in your country/region"

Any help greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem except that when i registrar the online pass, it said that my code was invalid or no longer available.

Anyone have the same problem?

I brought my PES at ebgames (yonge and shepperd).

That sucks, but u can buy another on-line pass if I am not wrong in the worst case scenario.

Now the problem with me I think lies in that I can't even login to play station store to register on-line. When I try to login to play station store, it says "service not available in ylour country/region".

What to do?
Whats weird is that when I login by my other username account, I can login to play station store, but I want the other username to login for my MLO team.

I see what you are talking about now.

When you create a new PS3 ( i m assuming you are using PS3), the first time you log in to the PlayStation Store, you have to pick a country, and that determines which country that account would be. I m guessing you must have picked a country outside of north america for that account. I have yet to found a way to switch countries within a account. SO, for myself , i have created 3 account, one for Canada, one for UK and one for Hong Kong. i switch to the according accounts for the corresponding games that i purchased in that country.

I have spend hours to figure out how to switch country within the same account but came up with nothing. Best of luck on someone else can tell you how to do it. Or else you would have to create a new account or use your old one.

That sucks, means have to start MLO all over again, sucks.
Interesting as before PES didnt want an on-line code to play on-line. Why wonder it need after this new update than?

I think they are trying to prevent people from sharing a game and pirated copies to play online.

I see. Ok.
Now I am using another username, one that can actually access Play Station Store, and when I type in my on-line access code it says The code u entered is invalid, check your entries. Wow!!! Now what, I have to purchse the game again lol.

Its a 12 digit coe right on a piece of paper. Hopefullly I have found the right one, but it doesnt work lol.

Contact Konami support directly. Ensure you mention in full that you have two account and that neither has used the code. If Konami ask, give them and ONLY them the code as printed to verify legitimacy of the code and purchase. You may also be asked to provide proof of purchase.

Same here. Cannot register on-line pass code to play on-line. Its not valid or whatever.

DOnt know what to do.

Wrote to konami, hopefully they reply back.

Same problem with me. I live in Canada and play on the PS3 and prior to the patch I was playing online without a problem and no code was required. Now when I try to play online after the latest patch I am asked to enter the online code that came with the game and I am told the code is invalid. There are some users in Canada that have reported the same issue in a thread in the online section so this is definitely a problem with Konami and not anyone here.

I'm having the same issue and I live in Canada. This is very frustrating and never had this problem with fifa. I barley have enough time to play and when I'm free to play fucking code doesn't even work.

Just received the following message from Konami support.

"We have a workaround that has been successful for other customers. If you are anxious to play PES2013 online, you will need to create a PSN ID with the U.S. as the region location. Once you have created that U.S. PSN ID, redeem the Online Pass code on that ID. After you have done that, you should be able to log back into your original PSN ID and play online"

Based on this message it seems that it is a problem that is specific to Canadian users. Will try this and see if it works.

But doesn't the pass code work on only one account on ps3, meaning other users on the same ps3 can't use the same pass code??

I only have a few games on the PS3 so I don't think I have ever had to worry about multiple users with one pass code. I know on the Xbox that the codes apply to all accounts attached to that console so I didn't realize that it works differently on the PS3. If it does work that way and you have more than one user on your PS3 playing PES then I can certainly understand why that would be an issue.

I should have added in my previous post that in the email Konami sent me they said they are working on a permanent solution; the workaround I described above is just a temporary fix for people who want to get online straightaway (assuming that the fix works of course).

Thanks i will try that out, I can't believe a Japanese company could be this unreliable. Do they even test these things out?

Edit: I can confirm the work around does fix the issue. I made a usa psn account, registereed the code and it worked. I;m able to play online modes on my canadian psn now.

Yeah it works, thanks. Just create a new user on ps3 with US as location.
Also, u guys can also go back and play with your old usernames again as soon as u enter the code while loged in with US account.

Yeah baby, i am back on-line into MLO. Missed my team :)
