Online gaming problems - need help

NEED HELP! Just bought PS3 + PES 2012, I love the game, but every time I play online games, after few seconds/minutes of playing, the game kicks me out with one of these two alerts:

"As the transmission has worsened match must be cancelled"
OR
"The match would be abandoned due to unforeseen circumstances"

I am using wireless connection and after test I have download speed of around 3.0 to 4.0 Mbps, also, I did port forwarding to all the required ports and the internet works great with other games.

I have no clue what to do next, anyone?

Same things happen to me and my internet works clearly aswell as other games on PS3. Trying hooking up if you're using wireless as it makes the connection more fluid and stable.

I know, but unfortunately, it is not possible since the router is in a different building... I am using wireless range extender and I have %100 signal and it seems to be stable now.

I still don't get where this problem comes from...

Have you set you NAT to open or type 1? This may help solving your problem.

Hey, I have at this moment NAT Type 2, I know that 2 & 3 are good for me. Can you please explain how to adjust it to NAT 1 / Open ?

I get it that you must be new to PES....

Well here is the deal ..its been happening for over 6years now. Online only works for some people (didn't for me)

They will make you open ports, port forward, change routers, clear cache, turn off every device in your household that uses any bandwidth....even suggesting changing your ISP.

But the reality is that PES only works online in some areas.

Solution....get a football game that works everywhere online. Do the research and I am sure you find one.

If not ..sit and play by yourself bro...:blush:

Lol? It's all about your connection mate. Many players have routers that block a lot of gaming traffic. That doesn't result in online gaming problems for everyone. 3 possible sollutions:

Get you NAT to Open or NAT 1. Search the web how to do this with with your modem/router.

Give your PS3 a static IP and make your PS3 a DMZ host.

I think this willl solve problems for 90% of the players.

I also have read that wireless range extenders are not good for gaming because it bottlenecks the download or upload rate. Can't remember which one as I read the article some time ago. But then again, you say you don't have problems with other games so that might tell you where the problems lies.

this is ridiculous.

I just played a game where the lag was so bad I had to press for the next pass when the first player was releasing the ball. Can't tackle, can't pass, can't shoot.

I've done everything to try and make this work... it is the ONLY game that is this CRAP... and it has ALWAYS been like this.

and putting your PS3 in a dmz... when ur PS3 has your credit card details, address and everything else? wtf?

I mean seriously... take the firewall off your PS3? Is that a serious suggestion?

Most routers you can tell to allow game traffic... and bizarrely enough every other game works.

No... the truth is that it COULD be because of connection speeds... but not necessarily... considering this game has been out for 5 months now it is clear that it is CRAP for online gaming. Complete waste of my time effort and life.

submitted that post and then my ps3 turned itself off in the middle of a coach mode match... funny that in coach mode it works perfectly well eh? Well, other than switching itself off, which it's never done before.

Anyway, it switched itself off, and then when it restarted it told me that I had switched it off incorrectly.


time for Ebay... can't be arsed with this sack of **** any more.

Chuck your PS3.. Get an Xbox 360... Open your NAT... You'll have playable online gaming... Unless you live in the North Pole, or......
