right, had pro evo 2010 on ps3 for 2 months now and since then had around 5 out 50 games which are relatively lag free. the rest of the time am getting lag of between 2 - 5 seconds!!!

i have a 50meg virgin connection am using wireless. a speeed check shows healthy download, upload and ping. my connection is always showing as green and recently grey which i have been told is great.

WTF is going on? read loads of threads on this but no solution. had no probs with 08 or 09 apart from the occasional teleporting which i could live with.

sent an email to konami and they gave the usual coporate response "we are aware of the problem and are working on it"

any help would be appreciated

use a wired connection and it will be sorted it even works wired through the router.
I have the same set up as you and when usng wireless its a nightmare but using ired it's fine.

The game will only be as fast as the slowest player's connection. It doesn't matter if you have a 50mbps connection or a 5000mbps connection.

seems much better lately. In anycase, whenever I start a game and I see buttonlag I just quit... Tired of that crap! My ball is flat by the way and Im not in any division because of it LOL!
