ive heard you gain points from online legends that go on your legend in your personal game, this true?

The points you get online only count towards your profile online. These in turn only go towards ranking you.

I'm pretty sure that's how it works

I've heard they count towards ermm.... fuck all? lol... But once I try it out, I'll let you know what I think :)

its true they count towards fuck all, which in all truthness, is crap lol, honestly you can play the game of your life with your guy, and you've nothing serious to show for it.
it is pretty remarkable why konami have chosen to do this really, i mean, just imagine if your points did turn into exp points

If that was the case, friends would just go online together, not bother playing matches, and just wait until the match ends then start over until they have 99 for every attribute... :)

People did this all the time in PES6 with the ranking system, and maybe still do... But this way is better and makes you work damn hard for your points.

Maybe something they could of done is what Mercenary's 2 fail to achieve. Meaning you have the choice to play BAL online or offline. So for example... You press on Become a Legend, new game then you have 2 options... Online or Offline... If you choose online, you can maybe play with a friend, you train together and stay together, yes, it might not be realistic but it means they still have to work themselves to get the points and they can't cheat the system. Its all I can think of at the moment lol... Then you can also have the option to play normal matches as you do now. Does that make sense? lol...
