I'm just wondering how everyone is finding online play. I thought I'd start a post which may help people to choose their internet provider, if they want a good PES online experience.
I used to have Sky 2mb broadband with 0.3mb upload and gotta say that speed was consistent and no disconnections but game was a bit laggy at times.
What people need to remember is that upload speed plays a factor too. Now I have Virgin's 10mb fibre optic broadband and PES plays perfect 99.9% of the time. I always have a green connection and it plays lag free. The only time I experience lag now is if i go to Quick Match and it pitches me against someone with a bad red connection. Even then, it is only minor lag that I experience.
Tehrefore, my conclusion is that Virgin's 10mb cable broadband is definitely a good choice if you want a good ISP to play PES online.
