Online Play PC VS Ps3

Will it be possible to play PC vs PS3 etc... like in pro evo 6?

Has anyone except IGN tried the online play?

PS3 has its own proprietary network and servers. The companies concerned Konami/Sony are probably not to go finance such a costly project.

I don't think we will ever see the cross platform online gaming apart from the "games for windows" PC\Xbox 360 which uses Xbox Live services.
