new to online play, does anyone find it a lot harder shooting for goal
when playing online.

is it better to just tap than look for 1/3 to 1/2 power on the bar

what about one on ones , finesse netter using RB (xbox) ?

cheers

IMO - It only makes a little difference what buttons you press and for how long. I beleive online is broken, or at least 'rubber-banded'. The CPU decideds if that shot will go in or not, and most of the time.... 'The computer says NO!!!'

For long shots try holdind L2 and hitting 30% power. if the GK rushes you , fill up the power and hit R1, if it just falls for you snap on R2 at the end of a full power ball to curl it in.

Then watch in despair as the ball rebounds of your other stiker and the referee blows up for off-side!!! OUTRAGEOUS!

If you are the one recieving the positive luck factor, It really doesnt matter how you press square, as long as you press it you will score. Enjoy the scriptings :)

i was sstarting to think the shooting may be scripted. i was getting more powerful shots with a tap rather than a long hold no logic there. is the L2 button for chipped shots and the R2 for finesse? (i have the xbox) not sure how L2 works with long rangers , all ive hear is double tap shoot for knuckleballs

0but r2 is finesse i think you mean and r1 i assume

Holding R2 whilst filling power bar = low power placement.

Power bar filled then snap R2 = another type of finnesse with a little more power and a change of foot/action.

power bar +R1 = little 'dink' to beat rushing keepers.

power bar +L1 = full on chip (power that bad boi up!)

L2 + power bar = manual shot? - somehow these seem to fly - try it about 30% power

O, O = super shot!
