How do I play online? I can't find any options to do it.

Come on guys, what am i missing here? I see no options to play online, anywhere.

Also, data pack updates. The game says go into 'statistics'; I see no statistics.

Don't be so impatient. Also, it would help if you gave a little more information, for example the platform you're playing on. If it's Xbox, online isn't working at the moment.

These are some of the quietest and most unhelpful forums I've ever used. Patience doesn't get you very far here, but a bit of prodding does, as I've discovered in the past.

I'm on PC and can't see any option to play online, or to DL data packs, even though the game tells me I can DL an update by going to 'statistics'.

Edit - Nvm, seems I downloaded a patch and now I have lots more options. Not sure why I couldn't do this through the game. Konami rock.

Some times you need to give it more than a couple of hours before you get a response.

It should be fairly obvious where to go to play online? But then... this IS Konami. Could you post a screenshot of the main menu?

I had no online option until I downloaded a patch and now I can access online. Seems like Konami literally released half a game. I'm not even sure if it's an official patch either as I now have the Premiere league and correct English kits etc.

This version is such a terrible mess. I've never seen anything like it in all my PES years.

has the PS3 online lag been fixed yet? Im itching to get the game but I really need online to work well since all my peeps are away and we play online exclusively.

I only play on PC. I tried the PS3 demo and not only did it look awful but the frame rate drops were so bad.
