Opposition Tactics, and home vs away form.

First of all, my team has gotten to the stage where they're pretty good. Most of my first team players being in the mid to late 80s, some in the early 90s. So I'm finding that (in the league), most teams are playing very defensively against me, whether they're playing at home or away. I'm also seeing some very strange tactical decisions.

For example, Chelsea are leading me, with about 60 mins gone. I score to level. They bring on another striker... in this case Forlan. Straight after this, they score to go ahead.... Forlan gets taken off for a defensive midfielder. He was on the pitch for 5 mins of the match time! That's normal. It's not the only time I've seen it. "What if they made their last sub?", I hear you all ask. Well, fuck it..... put the striker in defensive mid. To add to this, you get crazy opposition formations. Like having a 4-4-2 with 2 side midfielders high up the pitch, and 2 attacking midfileders high up the pitch.... and 2 strikers of course. What sane-minded manager would do that?

Now on to the 2nd part of my thead title. I'm finding that home matches are more frustrating than the away ones. In away matches, I tend to get more space and time on the ball, and score more goals. It's not like they're playing more attacking tactics either.

My away record on my current ML as Caen is considerably better than my home record, I can't fathom it, my players condition arrows are worse than If I was playing at home!

My condition arrows are better at home.... but I find home matches to be more of a chore than away matches.

My biggest gripe at the moment is the seeming lack of control you have when defending, the players feel sluggish and the cursor switching is a bloody nightmare. Block tackling has to precisely timed as well which is a real problem against top AI because they can run through most tackles. Still, its better challenging than easy.
