Cheers, BLES one works a treat. I couldn't log in to the PES servers to start with, was getting an authentication error. So I had to go into the edit mode and make a small edit (to a stadium name, but can be anything), save it, then copy that across to USB and then back again to the PS3 so it reads it as my edit file.
Great stuff - additions welcome obviously, but this is really much appreciated.

Just a newbie here. The farthest I have gone (using the BLES file) is copying it to my data utility in PS3. However, when I switch back to PES nothing happens. When I go to edit file it says I have to create one, so I created one, click load (not sure what happened, it said loading but I am not sure it loaded the BLES files). Still nothing happens. What am I missing? Did all of you guys just copied the files and it already works?
Does the region really matter? From what I am seeing in my disk it is BPSS-1229140A1. At the back of the case it is ALL region, 20307-CS and at the spine it is 2100271.

Hi Nagarayan,
I have BLES 02187 so Im not sure if the file you ve chosen is the right one for your region.
When you have your usb device in your ps3 and are going to copy all just wait a bit till there all shown. It takes a while. Im always scrolling to make sure they are all uploaded. You can check when you have them on your usb device in the Savedata file how many files it has got.
Never delete your System file just replace or delete your own Edit file and copy the Edit file of your usb. The rest of the files you can select all but makes sure you re not missing one or more.
If this doesnt work you have to find a option file for your BLES code. Some filemakers can convert to other BLES or even BLUS code.
So yes the region code does matter im afraid.

I already tried deleting the system file. Just to be on the safe side I will reinstall the game. Start from scratch.
Can you suggest a filemaker/s that I could use? I will just download all the code versions of option file and try it all first. Thanks for the guide!
One more thing, i noticed that the game can't recognize the edit file from the usb. I have an existing edit file and it does not notify me to overwrite it. I tried to manually delete my edit file and use the usb edit file and it seems that the game can't load it. <The "load edit data" during game loading only appears when I have my own edit file>
Is it something to do with the file names? Names of the files are "Pro Evolution Soccer (BLUS31564)" even the usb edit file. While the edit file I created is name "Pro Evolution Soccer".

If the edit file is on your PS3 among all the other files and it wont load when you start the game, than it's clear it wont work. You have to try a file with your own PES 2016 region code mate. There 's no other solution.

hello everyone, my PS3 PES 2016 is BLAS version. As I come from Hong Kong, so I download version of BLES02187 but it does not work. How can I change this file to BLAS version? Pls help~~Thx
