So I pick Palermo, this tool online picks Real Madrid.... I ask him, "are you serious? How is this fair"? He replies "jajajajaja"..... So we proceed with the SuperClasico of Palermo vs Real Madrid. I start with the default formation, the only thing I change is my defense, I man mark Kaka and Ronaldo. To my surprise, NO LAG so the game starts off and on my 1st attack I break free and score with Miccoli! 1-0 .... He presses back, predictably he runs down the flank with Ronaldo.... I manage to stop him a few times and try to get him on the counter. Since Miccoli is fast I feel I have a chance. Finally it happens, I get free on a counter, Miccoli again ...2-0!!! I think WOW, this is cool!! Lets keep it going! HT up 2-0 and I send him a happy face with an "jajajajaja".
With the 2nd half starting I know it will be tough, he will have the ball to start the half and thats when I feel my defense is the easiest to break down. He comes down with Kaka, cross to Ronaldo... CROSSBAR!!!!!!!! I breath again! For the 1st 10 minutes of the 2nd half he throws everything but the kitchen sink at me, Im pinned back, unable to do anything but try to clear the ball any way I could and basically waste time to protect the lead. My penalty area is full or Real players, buzzing and creating danger with their overwhelming speed at every inch of the area! It feels like he has 5 more players on the field against my lonely pink cladded Palermo defense. He gets a corner kick.... Header by Ronaldo.. CROSSBAR!!!! but the rebound falls into the dangerzone where Raul taps it in.... DAMN!! Still up 2-1 with 10 minutes to go!!! I make some adjustments, make my offensive attack wide so I could spread the field and counter attack better, my only chance to find a streaking Miccoli with a cross but his defenders are just too big and fast... FINALLY It works, I get free ... Miccoli again, all alone 1 on 1 vs the goalie, can I get a Hat trick???? YES!!!!TAKEN DOWN FROM BEHIND! Ahh Penalty ... Penalty right??????? huh, no penalty??? NOPE! Ref waives play on LOL!!!! My luck is turning! but Im used to this call so I play on!
We reach the 90th minute! Hes attacking like crazy!and the usual +1 shows on my screen, Im thinking one more clearance and I have a classic win over a Real "lamer". He shoots, with Kaka, My golie blocks it and it falls onto one of my defenders! YES!! !I clear and its over!! Well not quite.... I try to clear, I kick it as hard as possible but unbelievably :w00t It doesnt go more than 10 feet right to Ronaldo who is open at the top of the box....I yell SHIIIIIIIITTTTTTT....Helplesly I watch as he loads, shoots and kills it to the left upper corner of my goal! 2-2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he replays it over and over again and sends me the usual "GOAL", "THANK YOU" etc etc BS messages... GAME ENDS 2-2!
After the game, he starts running his mouth but all I had to reply to him was "You're a joke, I used Palermo vs Real and you couldn't even win"..... I leave the room satisfied knowing that the game was mine and since I was so undermanned I felt it was a win to tie 2-2!
