pass assistance levels

ok so what do the different levels really do?? I tried full assist, 3 bars 2 bars 1 bar and no bars... I don't notice any difference except for the fact that on no bars you need to hold the pass button more to get the ball to where you want it to go, if you tap it the ball just moves a few inches ahead of your player.... Can someone whos tried them all give us a rundown of the differences because I can't see much of any.

For me, there is no difference as they are all on rails. The only thing playing on manual does, like you said, is make you have to press the button longer to make the pass.

The reason I think (fuck that; know) all passing is on rails is because there will be times when I pass to a player on my team (fully manual), and instead of the player receiving the ball, konami will bring another player from across the field to receive the ball.
