Passing in the box

Anybody else find that its impossible to pass in the box? Your player always just either passes it to the opposition keeper or passes it out for a goal kick?

Do they play a different kind of football in Japan?

Manual pass is your friend, allows much more sensitive and shorter range passing, this allows you to be more precise if you need to angle a short pass in a tight space.

I just use through balls in that scenario, it's more likely to reach one of your players in the box that way.

Because the distance to the other players is so short, u need to be precise as possible.

This is true. Coming from someone who was all about FIFA, it took me time to ease into the controls. In FIFA, you tap it and it's more than likely a great cross. In PES, to make a great cross requires a bit more skill on the controls.

you realize in real life, this statement makes no sense?

in this game , yes, but how can being closer to someone require more precision when the ball has less distance to travel? Shouldn't a longer pass require more precision?

Passing in the box sucks this year. Just tapping the button should be fine, screw manual, its a 2 yard pass...these are pros here.

its impossible to pass to someone right next to you if there's another guy standing further than him. for example, if you have a horizontal line of players like X Y Z then X will always pass to Z. at least that's what i've experienced and I haven't found a method to get it right.

Well yes and no. With longer passing, the receiving player will have more time to get into the right position to receive the pass, while with shorter it would need to be precise as the player has less time to position himself for the incoming ball.

Agree aswell and its not about timing its the way the game works unforunatly, i still dont think the passing is good enough maybe it should be slightly more manual, basicly just have an option manual passing or assisted.

Its also very hard to pass in the box it used to be so good in the ps2 days scoring a classic teamwork tap in hardly happans these days, also when pass the ball you tap the X button and the player will attempt a really stupid back hill flick thing becuase there is no proper animation to get it right which is so frustrating.

2 main things for next pes better passing and and to beable to run past defenders to make good passes, with the right players of course like ronaldo wallcot.
