Patched PES4 to PES5

I've been playing my PES4 for the longest time with what I believe to be the Jonboyo patch (I forget). Anyway, the patch updated the kits for the unlicensed leagues, national kits and some faces as well, amongst other aesthetics like specific crowd chants and what-not.

I've been looking around on the forums for quite some time now, and I'm just wondering if the kits will be transferred over to PES5 when I choose to load the data from my PES4 option file. The option file shows up as a regular PES4 one in the PS2 browser, even though the copy of PES4 I'm playing is patched.

Any additional info would help lots too.

THANKS!

The patched kits are stored on the pes4 disk itself, not on the memory card. You will need to patch pes5 using one of the new pes5 patches.

ah, alright then.

but any changes that i make to the kits and emblems itself will be saved on the option file right?

my understanding is that it's possible to bring over emblems and logos through the option management. i understand that the emblems and logos are also stored on the disc itself.

so let's say that i make small insignificant changes to the kits and emblems, wouldn't they be saved on the option file?

Sorry , my mistake.

I didn't realise that you can't edit the emblems that came with the patch, i.e. the ones that are stored on the disc itself. :(
